My handle is drogoscg1#1457 and I wish to start a clan called Build Talkers.
Too many starting clans have ridiculous recruiting standards of having to have 700+ paragon points and be able to solo Gr 50 with two dill pickles shoved up one's nostrils. This is not meant to be another uber wannabe clan. The requirements for this clan is to have at least one character that can solo Gr 35 without multiple deaths, nonseasonal, softcore. The player should be mature, courteous, patient, and be an enthusiast of the technical aspects of the Diablo 3 game. The goal is to find and develop game friendships with like minded people who love to make builds, talk about technical aspects, and then push them to their breaking point while managing not to smoke other player's cool in the process.
The clan is meant to be about both classic and current gearing sets. It is for North American, English speaking players.
There will be two rules of play to be minded.
T6, bounties, and the like will be considered casual, experimentational, and free form. Casual behavior will be tolerated and no player should be pushy or demanding unless all players in the party have a prior agreement in some form. Members should feel free to have prolonged conversation in town and have a good time cracking jokes and the like.
Greater rifts are expected to be handled like raids. Prior agreements about the type of attempt to be made is to be understood and maintained by all players. If players wish to use classic gear sets then it must be agreed upon. If the attempt is for time, keys, or gem leveling then all players should have that understanding prior to the run. Good communication about expectations should be considered important. Chit chat during GR runs should be kept to a minimum so all parties can test their builds being run with a concentrated mind on the task at hand. Commit to the run. Do not go AFK please. Handle personal business such as eating and the like before the rift starts, or wait until the rift is complete. Be an adult about Greater rifting.
Courtesy and politeness are a must. Respect other people and don't be pushy. Respect other players when they want to do solo activity or activity with nonclan members. PM other players if you want to join them for a session unless they have a preestablished open game working. Respect personal boundaries and be willing to apologize if you make a mistake.
Yes, i'm a bit of an eccentric but there must be some of you out there like me who are looking to join a clan or community without having to be willing to sacrifice a first born child or the like to simply find people who enjoy the study of Diablo 3 and the progress to be made. Please contact me in game at drogoscg1#1457 or here in this forum. I look forward to meeting people who can share in this endeavor.
I'm new at attempting to establish a clan having never done so before. If my technical skills are lacking in regards to organization and posting, then please be patient. i'm serious about finding people of a similar bent and will do my best to make this work.
Sounds like a great clan! Good luck getting your numbers up.
