Ya that's right. Ding 60 with my HC Monk leveled legit. Stop telling yourself you're too scared to play HC D3. Move slow and find good quality people to progress with. It's how the game was meant to be played
no one said it's impossible but it feels good to reach the milestone that is lvl 60. it's been about a week or so and i'm able to farm hell act iii/iv fairly easily and am looking to complete more duo inferno act i skelly king runs. can solo currently, but it's slow and scary

Hardcore > n00bcore.
While I want to say ''grats'' the last part of your post took that wish away...
stop pretending HC was the way the game was meant to be played or that SC sucks and HC rocks, if HC was the way it was meant to be played why isn't it unlocked at the very begining? also why do you need to select ''hardcore hero'' before creating one? because the game is meant to be played SC and those of us who wants greater challenge, more rewarding experience at the risk of permenent death, can choose too if they want. so HC totally isn't ''how it's meant to be played'' SC is.
also as for SC vs HC, saying that one sucks and is for noob is wrong, I enjoy after hiting a milestone on my HC char, to evacuate the pressure and go all out on my SC chars, and don't fear death, I can do really shitty and funny build just for testing and fun, the kind of thing I can't really do in HC w/o taking too much risks. also when i'm really tired and making stupid mistake, but still want to play D3, my SC char are there for that or simply when I have something on my mind and can,t focus 100% on the game.
So no HC isn't the way it's meant to be played nor is it superior in any way to SC, it's simply different, for different purpose, love or hate it both exists so stop saying one sucks and the other is far better for that is totally wrong.
but i'll say it nonetheless grats on your first lvl 60 in HC I for one am still 31, in NM currently farmign normal for better gear just to enter NM well prepared.
Been 60 for some weeks now with my barb. FIrst did some hell a3 farming but now I can clear some Weeping hollow and the crypts easily in Inferno A1.
I also leveled by doing all the quests and exploring most of the areas. Killed Hell diablo when I was around 56-57 and then leveled in the Act3 tower area.
Hardcore is so much more fun. I'm selling stuff in the AH a lot.. even just mediocore stuff sells. In softcore pretty much nothing seems to be selling atm (except top items)
Hardcore > n00bcore.
I have a 60 monk for a while now, alreadly lost my 60 barb
rushing is for n00bs.
Rushing is for n00bs +1
pub games and slow/safe leveling is how d3 is meant to be played imo!
quality > quanity
