Its exactly the same thing with tour de france biking, alot of the top bikers are on epo or blood transfusion. They win matches unfairly using dope, they rule out fair people who ride fair without dope. Thud is the same, you simply are not ready to do those high grifts if you cant do it without Thud. If you use it, it means youre are gaining advantage over player who do their best to grind more gear in order to do higher grifts.
Defending it is even more ridicilous, its a choise to cheat not a requirment to do higher grifts
Sorry for sharing our rift with you guys, I'll probably never do that again. Your lucky I did in the 1st place...
WTF are you smoking? I am all for using THUD, as it is a fantastic tool that Blizzard should either allow in game or make the game more open source/moddable like WoW, but you really don't have to act like you walk on water because you have more time to sit at your monitor and dedicate to this game than most people.
Don't stoop to everyone elses level because they are insulting your usage of THUD. Your always gonna get flack on that. The minute you stop making valid points and start turning it into an Epeen contest, you lose every bit of credibility you had left after the THUD fiasco....
That being said, congrats on the feat. HC is too.... HC for me.... With my WD lagging entire sessions this season, I couldn't imagin losing my sh*t over it....
Just wanted to stop by to say congrats to Drahque.
Playing HC myself and TurboHUD is much needed. I could not even play Diablo without TurboHUD anymore.
We require players to use it too, especially new players coming to HC.
Haha, 1 post and joined today, butthurt much Drahque? You probably won't get banned but i'll still report you and your stream. [...] Also stop trying to justify shit, you're using hacks. If anyone else felt like wasting their youth to get a meaningless achievement with the help of hacks they'd do it too, most people preffer to live tho. I hope you get banned because I have a feeling we'd be doing you a favor in the long run.
Turbohud provides an advantage of consistency from making bad choices, but still a much smaller advantage for example than legal addons in WoW provide. I think it looks ugly as fuck and annoying (which is probably why blizzard don't allow addons in D3), but what it adds is hardly tipping the scales by any stretch of the imagination.
It's in poor taste and it's against the rules, but unless Blizzard have hard evidence (a stream with it visible perhaps?) they aren't going to ban anyone, it's really not as big of an advantage as some of you make out. I get that it can save people from making choices that could cause them to lose their characters, which could be considered a major competitive advantage from some angles.
I'm on the side of the fence that I just don't care, it's functionality that falls in a similar place to WoW addons and is fixing minor informational flaws in the game design.
