I've only recently discovered that when I'm playing D3 my real ID is displayed. After some prompt Googling I found out that you can disable it in account settings. But when I checked it already was disabled.
So I'm a little confused as to why it's doing this.
On top of that it looks like that my old wow account, which I have not used for a very long time has been banned for some reason, and I'm not sure why(most likely it was hacked). So as a result I've been locked out of all Battlenet forums. This could hint as to why my real ID is visible to everyone, although I can't understand why that would be.
I'll be calling Blizzard tomorrow to get my wow account un-banned so maybe they can shed some light on this issue.
But I thought I'd ask here as well as someone may have already come across this.
Thanks in advance
