Kdub69. we CAN'T SEE what laptop you mean, the link shows data that is on YOUR computer. we cant see what computer you are talking about.

try giving me a NAME of the computer, or a DIRECT LINK to it? do NOT link your shopping cart!

    ok?

    ----EDIT-----------------------------------------
reading my post, not understanding, ignoring what i wrote and post again DOES NOT solve any problems and does NOT make us see that computer. thats just Ignorance.

    thats fine!

    i7 4 cores 2.2 - 3.1ghz
    gtx 570 (1.5gb ram)
    8gb ram.

    should work just fine :)

kinda slow hard drives, but that only effect loading times and such.

if youd like to upgrade it, get an SSD drive and have Windows installed on that drive

(SSD(Solid state drive is allot faster then a normal HDD. having windows on it speed up allot! but this mainly "loading" times, should not effect your gaming that much)

    ignorance!
its definitely okay, he chose a laptop for a reason. else he WOULD have chosen an desktop computer.
the stuff that is in that computer is definitely good enough to play Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

hes not asking for a DESKTOP computer for 1200 that he can play bf3 on

The new 7970m just came out and is whooping some major ass in the mobile graphics department.

At stock speeds, and unoptimized drivers, it is benchmarking the same as a Desktop nvidia gtx 570!!

Yah if you have some kind of choice I would recommend upgrading to a 7200rpm HDD.

Get a Desktop if you want performance, End of story. Ignore mobility.

I have an asus G53SW with a core i7 and GTX460 1.5gb video card. it runs wow and SC2 fine, but d3 lags very badly even at minimum resolution and quality settings. Unless you go for an SLI 17" rig, you're not running d3 smoothly on a laptop without significant compromises. period.

Gaming and laptop are mutually exclusive unless you want to pay triple for (maybe) the same performance and 15 minutes battery life under load.

    To further explain:

You cat get a 17" mammoth that weighs 20 pounds, has 15 minutes battery life and is way too large for any use other than at home. Such a laptop is neither portable nor sensible in terms of performance and price and makes no sense as a "desktop replacement".

The only somewhat sensible thing you can do is get a 14" laptop that has both, an integrated and dedicated GPU so you can actually use it outside of your home with a power socket nearby. At home you can plug a proper keyboard, mouse and monitor into it and use it as a desktop replacement with poor performance and high costs.

not true.... i have a asus g73jh laptop and it run d3 at max without any problem! It can run sc2 on ultra too but in big battle it will not have sufficient fps

so keep in mind a i7 720qm + ati 5870m will do it so if you get better its sure you will run these 2 games!

And for all the laptop haters here we cant always have a desktop because if you want to play anywere it is very easy with a laptop.
