Yes I think spending whatever you need to make your gaming experience (or D3 specific experience) as good as it can be is always a good idea

Well this card is hardly necessary to max out D3. But it would be a great card for everything new right now. I'd still rather just get a GTX 560 Ti. I think right now it's the best value. Well, that is if you're one a budget like me.
