I been seeing videos of a Diablo bot going around and one of my friends brought up a point with how bad botting is in wow. Now i am wondering what is stopping a bot to bypass the warden client while this
person is in single player and selling his stuff on the auction house.. What are your opinions about this and how blizzard can avoid it all together.
Working in Diablo 3's favor is that it's a lot faster-paced than WoW, and apparently a lot harder than D2 so creating an effective bot won't be as easy, especially since it would need to have good survivability in late Hell / Inferno to find items people would want to buy on the auction house. I'm sure a lot of smart people will work hard on the idea, though
Much more likely to happen, in my opinion, is that we'll see Chinese labor (paid or not: http://www.guardian....net-gaming-scam ) doing most of the "botting".

Very disturbing read.
