Hi ! I have a new computer that is not for gaming, but diablo 3 doesnt seem to be too demanding, so I need your opinion with my specs. On canyourunit, I passed the recommended specs, even close to the high specs, but I dont know if I can trust this site...
I just bought a laptop with these specs:
4GB RAM CORE I5 processor 2nd genereation (4 hearts) windows 7 nvidia GEFORCE GT 520 M with cuda...
I downloaded the sacred 2 demo because d3 ans this game look and play similarly. The options they automatically gave me were medium setting graphics, but I ran on high details with minor slowdowns...
Please consider that my antivirus will go in game mode, giving me even more memory for the game and that I will buy a laptop cooler For d3...I cant play a game on low graphics, I hate it...Medium or high at least for me, and I want to play the game smoothly too...
Can all my wishes be fulfilled ? thank you all
Edit: I sometimes have the impression that even if I run a game at max settings smoothly, I still dont obtain te graphics I see on youtube. Is it possible ? That my graphics card can handle a game but isn't technically good enough to render amazing graphics ?
I think low detail should work well, maybe with a couple options turned to medium and shadows off.
If you want the quality you're seeing on the best YouTube videos, you'll need a 1080p (1920x1080) or higher* screen with all details maxxed out and anti-aliasing enabled. A very expensive gaming laptop could do this, but you're better off investing in a desktop computer if this is your goal. Fast desktop parts are cheaper because they don't have space, power, or cooling constraints.
* I play at 2560x1440 (1440p).
