Today I want to make a quick video showing the 'new' trial system and why it's now a lot more bearable. I believe (or at least hope) Blizzard will eventually get rid of trials altogether in favor of some sort of ranking system, but in the interim this bandaid fix is sufficient. Enjoy!
Yeah Hopefully they eventually forgo the whole annoying leveling process and just start you out at 70 with 800 paragon and forgo the whole frustrating gearing process and add an auction house or forgo the need for gold and let us just buy gear with real money in some sort of real money auction house. Or just forgo the whole boring process of making an awesome game with incremental steps to achieve things at all and just find anew planet for us super cool people to hang out on who are just bored of this society and all its monotonous steps of progression.....

Nothing wrong with the systems D3 has in place - as long as they make sense. The trial system is just unpolished design. Imagine if you played SC2 and you had to do a trial of some sort every time you wanted to play a ranked game against someone. It would awful, right? This is no different. The correct approach (in my opinion) is an integrated ranking system based on your successes/failures up to that point, just like other ranked matchmaking tools. However, that's a pretty big coding job.
