What if Diablo implemented a stats-screen viewable after completing rifts? I am not sure if this idea has ever been mentioned or how difficult if would be to implement. I believe it would stimulate a competitive environment while also providing feedback for players who are optimizing builds while helping them figure out what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong. Possibly a lot of fun when playing with friends or against strangers.
Ex:
Damage dealt:
Total Damage (ex 25.4B)
Damage by type (Fire: 16.4B Phys: 6.0BLightning: 2.0B Cold:0Poison:0 Arcane:0) Includes pets etc
Average DPS: Line graph possibly? (when expanded)
Highest Crit
Damage Dealt to Guardian
Healing done:
Total Healing (ex.4.5M) includes damage mitigated by shields
Healing by type: (Potions Orbs, Life on hit, regen, abilities including shields)
Lowest Survival (Signifies when you had the least HP in the run and survived)
Potions used
Defensive:
Damage taken
Damage prevented (Calculates shields)
Time spent at full HP
Time spent at CriticalHP (Sub 10%)
Time spent Immune to damage
Adventure:
Rift Duration
Monsters Slain
Elites Slain
Highest Killing Spree
Shrines Collected
Legendries Acquired
Spells Cast
Gold Found
Experience Gained
Goblins Slain
etc.
These are just a fewvague ideas of what could be and I am sure many people could do far better but I hope this gets somewhere because honestly it would be a great deal of fun to be able to go over and analyze in detail the pros and cons of builds etc.
I have noticed and I am unsure how to delete one of the threads, advice please. I am not good with forums
*edit* never mind a forum mod has helped me with the issue already. Thank you mod!
I like this as long as it only shows personal stats. If it shows you stats of everyone in the group, it might not be good for public games as people will just vote kick the worst contributor.
The transparency would really help, because honestly the game is in a state where determining endgame builds or improvements are murky at best.
As far as casualization of the game goes, I do not see how a stats screen would deter causal players... if anything I think it would promote casual players to play by giving them more clarity on how to improve despite the level of play.
A casual player could find the amount of kills he or she earned in a rift or the amount of legendries' acquired just as amusing or interesting as a seasoned veteran, lest the amount of damage dealt or healing done.
As far as stimulating a toxic environment where players are penalized publically for playing poorly... I would like to state that this is nothing new and has already been evident with the paragon system. I have games where players will literally votekick someone calling them a "low-level noob" because their paragon is sub 200. At least with the post rift stats screen, these players would have a chance to prove themselves and actually play out an entire rift before being auto-kicked by some random elitist jerks. Toxicity is nothing new, nor something a post game stats screen would be culprit of. If anything it would be a means of providing other players insight that some strange builds are effective.

+1 if you agree

Then again, this would go against the casualisation of the game. So they probably wont do it.

If they are just FYI and not to be taken as any sort of measure then great but for competitive purposes it's a bust.
Eg: Rift densely populated vs. sparse
Rift that was full cleared vs. Leave soon as RG is killed
etc..
