For those suspicious of and interested in the possibly intentional word choice of "Mischievous Surprise" in the post discussing the upcoming Blizzcon Diablo 3 Panels, let us consider this excerpt from the original Diablo II Manual for the Necromancer curse, Confuse: http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/misc/Diablo II Manual.pdf
Confuse
Necromancers can tap into the spirit realm, channeling bitter and MISCHIEVOUS spirits into the minds of nearby enemies. The victims are bombarded with the gibbering of the dead, which, indistinguishable from their own thoughts, urge them to strike at friend and foe
alike. The discordant wailing of these spirits builds to a crescendo, eventually driving the
victim mad.
Effect: Cursed monsters attack randomly
Theory One: Diablo 3 Player vs. Player Announcement."urge them to strike at friend and foe alike" could possibly reference long awaited PvP content, maybe a free-for-all battle royal type arena.
Theory Two: Diablo 3 second expansion announcement including a Necromancer-like class.
Theory Three: Blizzard intended this to be found and discussed pre-Blizzcon, simply for the sake of "Confusing" us... "eventually driving the victim mad" (we are the victims- #TrolledAgain )
Theory Four: No special association or intent behind the phrase "Mischievous Surprise"... but where's the fun in that?!
Let the ridiculous theorycrafting continue! Cheers.

Hahaha, I like it. I was thinking they could be announcing PVP, if it isn't an expansion announcement.
They totally meant to use that word mischievous, and since it only ever appears in that very specific case, which happens to be a D2 necro skill that suspiciously eludes to both the necro class, as well as PVP, I think it's a clue!
I hate to get excited about things like this. For all we know, Andy Dick is gonna run out onto the stage dressed as a treasure goblin, throwing free tee shirts into the crowd.
Hmmm Necromancer confirmed huh? Suppose I was right, just 2 years too soon... womp.

A pvp reveal would be totally out of left field.
You're a wizard Harry.....

If he was planned as part of D3x2 before it fell apart, then you were mostly right! maybe!
