I tend to agree with the new over harder/same. The problem is of course that they have to balance whatever the new is so that it doesn't become the "you must play this way or you waste your time" kind of mode...
new content = the one on front page is freaking awesome (BOE)
blizz needs to add in more and more stuff to keep players happy and busy, but right now there wont be huge new content pack for us coz blizz needs time to work on it ,addingnew diffculty lvl is like MP was added before, and it is not hard to keep us happy and busy doing shit while waiting for THE new content is win-win for us and blizz . who doesnt want new legs btw ? i mean heaps of them !
battle grounds : a place where 8 players (4 players a team) race thrutwo samerandom maps, on your way to the end you will encounter mobs + elite packs with chance of dropping PVP gears( rare + leg ), a boss in the end will drop shards of eternal conflict (more like shard of blood)+ the team that wins(kill the boss faster)will get double that amount.
brawling : same
pvp gears : a npc in town can do the trading(gamble). pvp gears greatly incrase your toughness + reduced critical hit damage from players and also reduce the chance you getting critical hit (more like wow pvp gears)+adding in pvp leg afflix (let blizz work on it)
open world pvp:new maps with conditions to win (capture flags ,towers, kill opponent commanders etc) 4vs 4 ,8vs8,16vs16,winner team gets huge amount of the new shards +a container which is like bounty reward.
How about both? Adding harder is a lot simpler than adding more content, and right now the only place to get "harder" is in grifts.
Sure, it might be more simple to add in difficulty levels, but... it's certainly not as interesting or entertaining. We need new content, not new difficulty.
The feeling I get is this: The players asking for higher difficulty levels are probably the players that have already finished with Torment 6 and are looking for a higher difficulty to separate themselves from the rest of the players. Higher difficulty is not new content, it offers nothing new to do, and it's a sort of a thoughtless addition. It's the easy road, not the right road.
New difficulty affects only those that have bypassed Torment 6. New content affects everyone. New difficulties are for the D3 elite that keep playing the game, even when they've done everything. New content brings back players that quit when they run out of stuff to do. We need new content much more than we need new difficulties.
(also, new content can be tuned higher than current content, so that the T6 version of the new content is much more difficult than current T6 content).
Come on RoS is only about 6 months old and seasons was just added. Diablo 3 is not an MMO.
What is more needed is more gear options and hopefully some better and more affixes for all gear types. We also need to tweak more in the skills since most players are only using a few skills.
Adding more areas will not do that much since a few hours of playing it people will state we need more.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
TImers were a bad idea in vanilla with monster enrage, they have no place in arpg. It forces people to play glass cannon instead of grinding it out in a tankier build. You are not going to clear 33+ solo unless you go full dps due to the 15min timer.
I would actually really love to see how it would work out without timers for the Grifts. And by that I mean people are still ranked on how fast they clear it, but if they go super tanky and take 25 minutes to clear it, they can still advance to the next one.
Until there's another expansion and the stats can go higher, there's going to be a point where you can't gear past the difficulty. Which is why, if it wouldn't take too much development time, I'd like to experiment with a Torment 7. Have this torment equal to roughly Grift 35 or so. It wouldn't 'solve' too much, but it would make running bounties and regular rifts a lot harder.
This is the worst argument I've ever heard. Seriously, it's fucking pathetic.
You know what? Nevermind. You guys are clearly stuck in the past if you think that only MMOs have end-game. If you want to play a game that never changes, then I suggest solitaire.
Since this games about farming for gear and takes dedication and luck, personally would love to see some form of perishable item which would up stats on armor pieces by a tiny amount each time e.g witching hour rolled really bad 5atk speed 30% cd 400 dex and 400 vit... using this item would up stats by 1-3 main stats 1% atk speed 1-3% crit damage etc...... this item of course would be really rare and drop only in greater rifts 35+ ensuring only dedicated people who farm endlessly a chance to refine their gear to perfection...... and obviously you would not waste the item on junk rolled items.
Personally, I'm not interested in doing the same boring shit over and over again, even if it's something above Torment 6. I want something new to do.

Even with 3ppl sitting in town a t6 rift is way too easy. Grifts just arent very much fun. There is no middle ground.
Id love to see higher lvls but no new loot.
