corrupted angels and shielding.anything with horde because of the spam and short internal cooldowns for most affixes... arcane enchanted and frozen are key offenders.
My worst enemy in Greater Rifts are DHs that run ahead and pull packs before I can get to them, at least when I'm on my WD. Those packs cast all their shit and then I can't CC them anymore if they spawned Arcane Traps and Plagued and what not in a rift with narrow paths.
If I get first contact with my WD nothing is a problem, nothing at all, at least up to the rift guardian.
Immunity amuelts don't solve that much because you can still die from other elements. Cold immune is arguably the best in high GR because as a DH you can outrange jailer but can't really outrange frozen.
@Pauzi: you can't go for toughness because you will lose too much dps and basically won't be able to clear anything above ~36...
My DH barely has 5m toughness with a bit less than 250k hp. There's no getting around that and that's pretty much the minimum toughness you can get if you are plvl 600 or so...
Jailer is still the most retarded of all, if you don't have a Julia amulet ,you're not going higher than 37-38, nothind to do, insta one shot, unavoidable
You what, mate? Awareness / Spirit Vessel or any other skill which works this way and you can't get 1 shot as long as the skill isn't on cd. Also, moratorium, anyone? If you can't go past a certain point toughness wise, just drop some of your DPS to get that toughness...
i cleared 41 with a bit more than 10m toughness and a shitty gear setup (calamity but no 4,15bp). so yes, it is possible. 1,1m dps are really enough to clear anything below 39. i am indeed p600, but you can lvl fast by just doing t6 rifts
jailer really becomes an issue at 42, because you need at least 13,8m toughness to survive it but you can easily survive all other affixes. you can run a kamee instead of hellfire to drop some toughness but that means you loose 1 passive -> -20% dps.
There is no such thing as "you need at least 13.8m toughness" because tougghness is compiled of armor, all res, life, dodge and block. You can have very low hp but with high mitigation which will show as a lower value in total toughness yet still allow you to whistand certain hits (probably even jailer). But in general, there's no toughness number that you can surpass and safely say that you can survive x or y.
OT: There are a few possible solutions to this problem imo:
1. Remove those burrowers from gr as a whole.
2. Make them unable to cast spels / move while burrowed.
3. Make them unable to burrow.
Numbers 2 and 3 will require dev effort and can create potential bugs. Number 1 is the most simple option which we have already seen Blizzard utilize with their removal of rock worms.
Completely unavoidable damage is not fun. Especially when it one shots. I can't imagine taking my wizard past 39 without getting more toughness, as a single jailer is doing about 90% of my hp with unity and ~15m toughness. If it's a jailer blue pack, gg.
Give them some shield and your gonna die alot.
Id put these guys up as worst enemy in game currently, You guys got anything worse?

The funny thing is at 42+ everything will 1 hit you even with the unity, making it a nice progression item, but not end gamish.
