well my hero is level 70 paragon in the hundreds, and im assuming that level 60 items wont be dropping at this point. the blacksmith offers either "hellfire ring" or "hellfire ring of intelligence, strength, etc." the random ring i can make no problem. are these new drops the level 70 "organs"? the vengeful eye, whithering spine, and devils fang are the "organs" that WILL NOT drop for me. are these the level 60 organs that i no longer need? if yes, then i assume that now i can no longer craft main stat specific rings and only random hellfire rings? if yes, will it always smart roll or am i at the mercy of RNG after all my hard work?
Those items are for the level 60 versions. The level 70 one requires Leoric's Regret, Vial of Putridness, Idol of Terror and Heart of Evil.
If you don't have the 70 plans, go to the little girl in Act 2. Buy the level 70 Hellfire Ring and Amulet plans. Teach them to the Jeweler (you don't craft these at the Blacksmith). Profit.
There is only one ring and one amulet plan at level 70. A specific recipe for Int/Dex/Str is not needed because of smart loot. Any level 70 hellfire ring you craft will come with the main stat of the character that is crafting it. Likewise for the amulet (amulet will also come with an appropriate passive for the class who created it).
Torment I: 25%Torment II: 28%Torment III: 33%Torment IV: 38%Torment V: 43%Torment VI: 50% The Ubers at T6 drop organs at 100% now I think?
Organs must be higher than that, or?
I multibox 4 accounts and had organs dropping 14 out of 15 times on T5. Cant be just pure luck if droprate is 50%?
Or does it work like this, (since all get organs).
Or does every account roll once each when doing ubers? 50%x4 chance to drop for all?
Why are you doing Ubers on T5?
T6 Ubers is so easy, I can solo them while I eat a snack. IMO; They need to make Ubers MUCH more difficult. The 100% organ drop rate is spot-on. I don't find the keys hard to farm at all, though it does take some grinding.

Organ droprates were roughly doubled some time ago (hence the title and whole point of this thread). T6 is 100% and it slowly goes down from there. I don't know exactly what T5 would be (because as ruksak said why the hell would anyone do T5?) but I would assume somewhere in the 80-90% range.
Keys and organ drops are per party. So, if T5 is an 85% droprate, the entire party has an 85% chance that everyone gets one and a 15% chance that no one will get one.
It kind of blows my mind that people still struggle with this. It's crazy easy old news. Totally mind boggling that people can have hundreds of paragon levels or the wherewithal to set up a 4x multibox twitch team but are too dumb to figure out Hellfire rings.
span>I recently started it and my team is still pretty poor, but it didnt take long at all to farm that stuff, bonus when multiboxing I guess.
but will do T6 from now on.
I gottcha. You said you multiboxed so I assumed you had your gears pretty tight.
Advice to others;
As Bagstone said in the OP, try to get together with others once you get your 4-piece machine set together. Soloing ubers is easy once you get to a certain gear level, but you're effectively wasting a great deal of time. It's best to party with others that have full machine sets, and then each round of ubers each person contributes a machine.
IMO, key hunting is done quickest solo or with friends. I attach speed skills/gears and usually get in and out pretty fast. The average on T6 for me is 2 out of 4 wardens drop a key, so for 16 keys you're talking an average of 32 runs of 4 wardens. In pub groups, you're just begging for frustration.
Sometimes Wardens can even drop 2 keys, as happened to me an hour ago or so. Got an Act 1 and 2 key from Ogden (Act 1).
Remember to pair with others who have machines, as the reality of the Hellfire is.....most likely, it's going to suck. The flip to that is, a good roll with a strong passive is without question a BiS neck. A 5th passive is gamebreaking on the right necklace.

Correction: no guaranteed legs in Grifts.
"Yes, there is. Once your get to Tier 30 GRs, you always (or as course to as no difference) get at least one, MOST often two, sometimes three. No there isn't I run mostly 29-31 now to get all my gems to rank 25 and on many occasions got 0 drops . " <--- Failed quote .
People in clan always mention 0 drops over 30 and quite a few at 32 have had 0 drops , it's not guaranteed at all .
As for keys , I have never ever made an hellfire ring or amulet and I have played since release . I just can't face Dalghur oasis , after trying a few times on T6 and never getting a key drop , I gave that up as a bad job and likely will never go back .
Thankfully when making a new character I can do bounties and never look at that place again .
So , as much as I would love an amulet , I'd rather not get that frustrated again .
And my quote is messed up , it did quote the whole thing which now looks stupid , the forum went down when I edited the post , came back up looking like that with a quote missing ......
thanks, i read that before, but here is the problem im having. if by "organs" they mean the viles and whatever required for ammy or random ring, i get those. BUT... when i try to craft a specific ring, it shows i have zero required organs (spine, etc, reminicent of diablo 2 organs). if droprate was 50% and updated to %100, then shouldnt i have at least one organ?!?!?
I think you're missing the way this works. You get the keys from Kewardens. The keys make a machine. The machine opens a portal and the bosses inside the portal drop the items needed to craft an amulet.
The Keys are never guaranteed (just more likely on higher Torment Levels). The items from the bosses are 100% in Torment VI. They are not guaranteed in any other Torment Level.
No this is for the lvl 60 Hellfire ring not for the LVL 70 rind or Ammu. There is no spine in the lvl 70 crafting mats for the ring or amulet. XD
U need to farm Izaul for the lvl 70 plan ring and buy the amulet plan for 5 mil in act 2 sqwuirt the pedler.
i still deny the 100% drop rate though. i did dozens of uber fights in the last week and the rate was barely 50% this was done solo on ps4. maybe its only 100% in a full game? i dont know but its not working for me.

Under "people who CAN handle farming" one might think of no lifers, you know, many people have a life, no time to farm 10h per day, so yes, this is very welcome because believe it or not, vast majority of players are casuals, few hours per day
I dont think a few hours per day classifies as casual. A few hours per day is like a part time job.

A great tip for PC players. Join the Community Channel "Ubers" to get the most out of your machines. Try to have at least 4 machines and join with 3 other players with 4 machines each. This will get you 4 Hellfire rolls for the 4 machines you have earned. A terrific way to maximise your Ubers.

oh, PC. ok that makes sense. i wonder why that isnt a universal buff on all platforms..
PC will always lead the way in Diablo.
Not sure I agree with this statement. I have the game for PC and Xbox 1 and right now the only reason I play it on PC is to compete in the ladder but most of the time I am playing it on console because of how much more smooth it runs, without lag or disconnects. (I play hardcore mode) I also have a great deal more fun playing on the console since I can sit back in my couch and play with 3 other friends. It really feels like Diablo was made for console and for playing with a controller.

You're talking about convenience and personal preference with a controller etc. I was referring more to patching and implementations.
Personally, I can't fathom playing Diablo with a controller. Tried it at my dads house on his PS4 and it really irked me. But.....I played HC for almost 2 years and finally had to give it up due to DC/Lag frustrations, so I fully agree with your point about console HC.

Well Blizzard did confirm that PC and next-gen consoles will have simultaneous patches/content updates so we'll see if they live up to that statement.
