hardcore players will hit 70 faster than softcore players, hardcore is half way to what seasons are anyway
I expect a few might even switch over to softcore just to place higher on the leaderboards with the lowered average skill competition compared to hardcore seasons.
Even the softcore players with multiple 70 characters are unlikely to have done so with no twinking gear or power leveling
the knowledge of lower level play and lower level gearing put hardcores knowledge far above what you will see in softcore in terms of hitting level 70 in the most effeicnt way possible.
the only 1-70 i've done is crusaders being the new class the rest were all 60-70, did one to 70 then just crafted and enchanted reduce level weapons for everyone else and even the 1-70 of leveling crusaders was done with existing paragon points and hellfire rings and ruby socketed weapons.
The experience of softcore players to go 1-70 with no paragons, no gold, no high level gems, no artisan plans is going to be minimal unless they do as i advise above which is purposefully build as much of the knowledge base as possible today before seasons go live, socket no gems, asign no paragon points to mimic the conditions of a fresh account as best as possible
Really? I know what is HC leveling. My friend, boost me please till 70lvl while Im staying far behind your back/in town. Nope? Than HC players will be like "I must survive, because Im on HC, I need gear with toughness, I'll sacrafice my dps because I dont wanna die" while SC players will be like "oh, I have 0 toughness... who cares, lol? I'll put more dps on my gear and will faceroll". On SC much more skilled players than on HC just because atleast ~90% players playing SC and have much more possibilities to test class. SC will get 70 FAR faster. Also, Philos get achievement 1st Malthael T6 kill after 11hours ~30minutes on PTR, On SC of course. Try it on HC, lol.
Gotcha, that makes sense. Thought you were saying that there was something about Hardcore characters that would allow faster levelling. Now that I see that you meant that players who specialize in Hardcore will have greater levelling experience and knowledge, I agree 100%.
This might be the dumbest arguement ever. SC will level faster, simply because they can stack damage and maul down the content faster. its as simple as that, if you think HC characters will level faster... I want some of what your smoking.
in short my advice is that you can bridge the gap aslong as one is willing to play in a way the SC game did not naturally encorage them to play.
how many people on SC know the difference of what skills and runes will be open to them at 25 or 29, when they haven't played a vanilla class at level 30 since mid 2012 and don't discount the fact that unless you keep up your old method will have been changed with subsequent patches, you need to do it with the patch most similar to the 2.1 patch, which is on the PTR that many HC players test on by just reloading their live account
Difference between runes at 25 and 29? You know, there is descriptions on runes. And humans can read. Atleast they must. You troll or dumb?
PTR:
1. SC
Another 43 SC players and almost 4 hours.
Finally 1 HC
Another ~180 SC players.
1HC
~100 SC players more
1HC
Really, I have nothing to discuss with you, your point is wrong and only dumb man/troll can still defend that point. Cya.
One thing I find funny about hardcore players is their mentality of "I am better because I play hardcore".
The people that will top the leaderboards are those that have a good group of people to play with and those that are knowledgeable. HC and SC both have a lot of these people and it has nothing to do with the mode they chose to play on.

As if no SC player ever started fresh. And besides, what knowledge base? It's not rocket sceince. No one actually gives a shit about world first and getting to 70 an hour before others does not really help you anyway. If i got by your logic, SC players are more experienced with everything in the game because they were never afraid of experimenting and playing on content that outgears them so therefore some SC players should be faster than HC players. See how that logic fails? because there is absolutely no rule that dictates the outcome whatsoever. Some individuals will always be "better". In D3 it usually revolves around having a good group / clan that can support and carry you when needed.

i just started a DH with my friend Monk, and we are now level 46 and that took us 4 hours
so what is the fastest way to go level 70?
just look at PTR leaderboards.
Nothing to discuss with you.
