Five in 10 hours with a method called "Junger Farming"...
You may already have your RORG but this method will help you farm a *good* one which you can roll to a trifecta.
How it works: The game has a pity timer, meaning that if you don't get a legendary within an hour or so it drops one for you automatically. The goal the aforementioned method of farming is to ensure that pity drop is in your horadric cache and not in the world.
What to do:
-Do not kill any mobs except those required for objectives.
-Do not kill goblins.
-Do not open chests including resplendent chests.
-Do not destroy breakables (pots, barrels, looting bodies etc)
-Do not pop fortune shrines
-Do not kill mobs from required cursed chest and shrine event objectives until the timer has run out.
Avoiding a legendary drop in the world increases the chance the pity timer drops one in your cache.

Blues have stated that the contents of caches are determined the moment you obtain the cache, not when you open them, so it doesn't matter when you open them and the pity timer has nothing to do with that.
from a lot of information in this post and other informations I've seen the pity timer is not an hour. One of the blue post specifically says the system is designed to not ever be encountered by 99% of the population and they took several precautions to ensure the system couldn't be exploited.
im fairly confident the "timer" is much longer than an hour and if I had to take a gander it probably calculates total number of item rolls into the equation, so skipping chests and goblins probably won't get you to your pity item any quicker.
Ive done split farming on normal, hard, ect., t1-3, the Junger rules and farming t5-6 act 1 caches since RoS came out and I have not found one ring. I can clear out an act 1 bounty run on t5 with my crusader in about 5-10mins. I have filled up bank tabs literally 100 times with act 1 caches and have 0 rings to show. RNG is RNG, junger and all aside, this ring shouldn't be in the game.
I don't think this "Junger " thing makes a difference but I'm also calling BS on the 1200 caches no ring. I could see not getting a trifecta but there's no way you've gotten 1200 act 1 caches and not gotten at least a crap ring. That's basically statistically impossible and if it really happened and it's not just a silly exaggeration then uninstalling the game isn't a bad idea because you have the worst luck humanly possible.

this
ppl just like to exaggerate everything they've done to prove nothing
I've done 3400 bounties (equivalent to nearly 700 caches) till now and have 9 RoRG, not a single one is trifecta but still usable
I got 16 RoRGs out of it and my chances is like 1.59% per cache. RNG is RNG, but I feel that persistence and efficiency is the key to obtaining this ring. Good luck!
Regardless of whether the Junger method is tin foil or not, bounty bags are farmed faster with this routine and reducing the time it takes to get RORGs.
Well, even if the pity timer doesn't work on Caches the Junger Rules are still the fastest way to farm them, so it's still the currently best way to farm the ring.
op = bulls..t
rorg is not hard to find .. 20-40 caches on normal
1-10/15 caches on T6
i think i rather salvaged more rorgs than you found with that "popular method"
maybe, but since i can faceroll T6, i kind of find it wasted to run normal bounties .. for such a low chance. better run less T6 in same amount of time and drop twice as much
For those calling bs on hundreds of act 1 caches and no rings, here is my info. I have received 369 total caches since RoS came out. Out of all of those, 69 of them have been acts other than act 1 as there is no real need for them on my toons. This makes about 300 Act 1 caches to date with 0 rings on this account.
The Junger Method is bullshit. It relies on the "legendary pity timer." What no one bothers to mention, however, is that this timer doesn't kick in until you've gone 6+ hours in-combat without a legendary drop.
In other words, everyone who has ever tried the Junger Method has done so incorrectly, because I guaran-fucking-tee you that none of you assholes have gone 6 hours in-combat without a legendary drop. Indeed, the only way to actually do that would be to afk farm a mob that you can't actually kill and that can't kill you. Even then, I imagine that the game would have something preventing the timer from kicking in while fighting one group of mobs for an extended period of time.
OP: Anyone who has gotten an RoRG with the Junger Method would've gotten that RoRG anyway -- the Junger Method had nothing to do with it. You can argue with me all you want, but that only shows that you don't understand the fundamentals behind how this so-called method is supposed to work. Remember: If the Junger Method actually worked, it would require you to go 6+ hours without a legendary drop. You never waited that long and neither has anyone else. It doesn't work.

A lot of people will tell you that Torment difficulties only increase your chance of getting regular legendaries, not cache only legendaries. If that's true (and I haven't seen any actual evidence supporting or denying it), then you're actually lowering your chances by running the higher difficulty because you're getting less caches-per-hour.

Any questions?

6% as
50% chd
5.5 % chc
I use that for everything.. no way i am trying to farm one for strength and one for dex based toons

But if those lame legs are considered "a pity" then my "Pity Timer" is 20 Lame Legs.
