I'm curious if any individuals or groups have come together to see how fast they can kill the level 70 version of the various Uber boss's in Torment 6 difficulty.
This morning I killed Ghom(10b) & Rakanoth(8.6b) in 25 seconds. Killed Siegebreaker(10.8b) & Zoltun Kulle(7.2b) in 62 seconds. Killed them with my quadbox team of fire crusaders. The rest of the Uber fights take too long due to multiboxing related movement issues.
Given the stupid amount of burst people are capable of these days, and the tiny reward from doing ubers I don't think anybody has bothered to try... I mean people can do T6 Ghom in what, 6 seconds averaging like 600mln dps? So I imagine ubers wouldn't take much longer.
I personally think that if the player is using one mouse and one keyboard, and having his inputs be split into three extra virtual machines to control other characters, that it should absolutely be defined as illegal, and not allowed. At the moment the "There's no competition in D3" argument works, but come ladders and seasons it's most definitely going to be effecting everyone personally if they are even contemplating competing in the different leagues of the tiered rifts.
On a related note, i think diablofans.com have really taken a dive under these last 3-4 months in regards to what "news" they post on their frontpage..
Could just aswell take the builds from the Reddit "Random Build Challenge" and post them as guides.. Would be just as effective as those shown lately among other things :-)

Why do you feel it should be defined as illegal? He's still controlling all of them himself. Should groups of friends grouping up also be considered illegal since they also seem to have advantages over others?
Nice deflecting, but I'm not talking about four DIFFERENT people. I'm completely OK with group synergy, especially since groups will be separated from solo players in the ladder.
No, what I'm talking about is the fact that as multiboxing goes, pressing a key is being macro'd to control 3 other virtual machines. It's a complete, unfair advantage, especially when we enter the realm of competitiveness.
Yep, I agree with the above... I see no advantage a multi-boxer gains that a group doesn't have, I don't see how him controlling them all or other people controlling them makes any difference in fact you would expect the latter to be more efficient.
Also the "competition" in this game PvE will really only be on a personal level because the top-end will just be people who are fed gear like streamers. I wouldn't be surprised if a streamer will be fed rift bosses/caches and be T6 ready before the first week ends.
