Does the crybaby effect worry anyone else as much as it does me?
These forums are starting to look a lot like the BNET forums lately, so I hopped on just to see what those looked like.... perhaps the intelligent conversation and topics that were once here are there but it actually just got far worse. From experience I think Blizzard is just going to keep giving in to the 2.0 babies and eventually we're going to have the WOW complex where everything is retarded easy. I actually enjoy difficult games and grinding with a steady progression. How many of us are left?
I give credit to the people commenting "RNG SHUTUP" and "STFU" but it would be a lot better if an admin would step in from time to time and just get rid of the QQ threads.
What is worse, a topic complaining about the drop rates or a topic complaining about the complaints about drop rates?
I think the latter. (And no, don't even think about going deeper).
Yes, we are aware that many of you are annoyed by it, but on the other hand the many posters in these threads show that it is indeed a discussion that many people want to have. If you don't like those threads just don't post in them. Every post of yours is a free bump.
I was gone for a couple of days and only checked the forums once a day. There were about 10 pages of unread threads and within those 100 unread threads only very few (1-3) were so called "RNG whine threads". I think you're overreacting. We also closed a couple of those threads and aim to keep discussion in one place. Having one or two open threads about an issue should not be a problem. Never was the entire "recent threads" list on the main page filled up with those kind of threads only.
I'm gonna lock this because as I said in my introduction, complaining about complaints doesn't make it any better. We are aware of those threads and keeping it to a limit. But again, if you don't like those threads just don't respond. If there's no one to argue with the discussion is dead and the thread will vanish from the most recent thread feed.
