To perhaps address the OP's post and also the folks that are not happy with itemization (myself included) the legendary items could use a buff to how many affixes they could have - similar to D2. They don't necessarily have to be filled with life changing affixes, but more substance would be nice.
Simple problem: bracers. The Nemesis Bracers are awesome - but they only allow for 3 random stats. So you get a main stat, movement speed and then 3 random stats. What if you got 5 or 6 random stats? So you get the cool legendary effect of elite spawns at shrines and you don't feel too bad replacing your rare bracers that give you main stat, vit, crit and skill % damage increase.
The Legendary items could stand to use some buffing - but not in each piece having multiple game chancing/build changing procs. Just more affixes that could be beneficial.
I think the deeper root of the problem is that we were spoiled with MP10 farming. The AH allowed us to get a few pieces of gear, with lifesteal that made it possible for us to somewhat effeciently farm the hardest challenge in the game. I think fundamentaly people are looking for that now. And when they can't survive T6 and they aren't finding easy gear to accomplish this, they get frustrated and want overpowered/bugged gear to give them the chance to go straight to the front of the line.
I've slowly increased in difficulty to T3 solo rifts and to do that, I have to change up my build for survivibility. This was from a starting place of be terrified to go into T1. I'm enjoying the difficulty progression and with each new drop I have a chance to explore a potential change to my gear/build and the advantages it may bring. My hope is that I will get a great combo of gear that makes T6 possible. Time will tell.
The short answer to OP is no, it doesnt bother me at all. In fact, I'm pretty happy that OP itens are gone. My problem with itemization right now is how easier and better is to focus in fire builds than everything else. Sure, there are physical, cold and lightning builds out there (I think that poison is completly out of question) but fire damage is sure the easier and mos efficient for most classes. But I do think that, with time, more itens will come and we will have a great deal of itens that supports differents play styles.

I agree that fire builds are the easiest to flat-out max your DPS with, but they don't really give you the utility/CC options that cold and other choices do. I'd rather do a little less damage and be able to stay at a safe distance (as a wizard) using cold. Then again, I'm pretty biased because I love the fact that I can play chain lightning/frozen orb cold sorc just like back in the day if I want to.

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.

I do want to play cold as well, but that damn frostburn run away from me.... Like I said, there are other builds out there, but fire is just easier. There is too much gear helping it.

I too had more powerful bracers on my Barb and Crusader when I found Nemesis. So I carry them around. When I find a shrine, I swap the Nemesis on, touch the shrine, and then swap the Nemesis out. Simple workaround.
I do the swap as well. That's just a small example of how a fix to the allowed amount of legendary affix rolls could make gameplay that much more enjoyable. Right now the practice is very similar to MF gear swapping during a fight and it something they worked hard to avoid.
What we need is items that are game changing, and I'm not talking about number crunch changes, I'm talking about change in the mechanics itself. We need items that morph's you into a reaper or other monster, items that summon hordes of cows/goats/rakanishus, items that make you held 2h weapons like a 1h (might belts/weapons could be useful) or give you a 3rd slot for a flying weapon that fights at your side. We need a fun game, with big numbers in damage and cool mechanics to work with. Runewords change this, I remember my hunts after white items with the required slots back in the day when I played LoD. They have the tools and the feedbacks, they just need to learn how to use them.

Someone sounds a bit jealous their thread only has 2 pages...
