I think I have only one set piece dropped and it was a blackbourne boots or something like that. I did have a few set recipes drop which for the most part makes me more than happy.
It does not really matter which one drops, they both make me happy

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
Other than weapons and a few specific legendaries I feel like the end-game sets are just 1000x better giving better than or equal stats and some totally insane bonuses like all mantras, earthquake on leap, call of the ancients for ever so yeah I defiantly get more excited for set loot than legendary because I feel set loot is flat out better.
Well, the only set pieces that have dropped for me have been for a monk or for my barbarian....only 30 levels below me. So as of now, set pieces have been quite the buzzkill...
A lot of the time it's set items for me, just because I feel the range at which set item stats can roll is a lot less than that of most legendaries. That is most likely untrue in fact though.

Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
Set items generally but it depends on what character I play and what slot they drop for. If I'm on my Wizard I just know any Set ring is going to be useless compared to the legendary rings I could (but never actually do) get but if something like a set chest drops you just know I'll be giddy with anticipation, you know, until I can tell it's just another Blackthorne item.
Oh my god.. such a horrible feeling seeing another Blackthorne...
Although as of lately I've been getting all plans or leg craft mats... A little upsetting.
