I've been trying to figure this out and I figure someone else probably knows better than I do. If you are farming Inferno on, say, Medium difficulty instead of Master I or II, will acquired Legendary items roll worse stats? I know as the Master level increases so does the MF/GF/EXP, which means obviously the likelihood of Legendary items dropping goes up. However, what I'd like to know is if the increase in difficulty has a direct effect on the quality of the Legendary items that DO drop. Trying to decide if it's better to keep farming Master III or if I should opt for speed runs on Easy or Medium. Any tips are appreciated!
That is encouraging to hear. What is weird though is that I was playing recently on my DH in Medium when I normally play my Monk on Master III, and I seemed to be finding MORE Legendary items in Medium mode. Perhaps this is just an optical illusion because I was just killing stuff way faster, or I just got lucky.

I have a friend that only plays HC (Plvl300) and he is farming only normal a1 ... He plays a speed barb and kills stuff real fast ... He already got a lot of upgrades and a lot of legendaries ... he said it doesnt worth the danger if you can find nice legendaries on normal .. lol
I never thought of that but, and sounds very weird, makes me think why should I go on harder dif if items drops everywhere .... well if you do not care about experience, then you should try it, since its really fast, make a thorn build and just run lol ... btw if you 1 shot everything in Torment maybe there is no reason to go normal/medium then ...
What can I say from my experience? Well, usually I find like 1 leg per run, whatever the difficulty...
Perhaps I should have prefaced this by saying I play console and not PC, so I'm not sure how the "Masters" relate to Torment as far as bonuses go. My question was answered though.

And this is one of the biggest problems with Torment. It's just uninspired MP levels with a different name. All you do is move spreadsheet numbers around when you move the Torment slider. It's boring and there's really no reason to play in higher levels when everything hit's like a truck and is a walking HP brick wall.
I'm kind of shocked they didn't fix this issue from MP. Why aren't there changes to the game as you go up? New affixes on elites as you go up, new items in higher tiers of Torment, etc.
Simply gaining higher gold and XP per difficulty is NOT ENOUGH to get people to play T6.

yea I agree... we need something more than that ... of course the feeling of being strong enough to go t6 is amazing .. but ..meh .. you know ...
Well most of my clan atm are obsesed with paragon lvls via the old cliche mindset of "meh RoS around the corner Legs don't matter anyway" so xp wise, yes higher torment the better, but im wondering now if its not a million times more efficient doing normal resets to farm legs (since you can do the full storyline in like what 3-4 hrs?)
Either way, thanks for the tip!
Is that like farming Torment on Easy

And truth be told, is just more fun playing Torment.
I've found great legs on either T level, but I found nothing useful in Expert.
When blasting through the acts just as fast on T3 as on T1, there is no good reason to not do T3.
