I would like to make a suggestion to change Max Resource on the Utility tab for Paragon 2.0
Currently you have these options:
Maximum Resource (0.50 per point)
Magic Find (2.00% per point)
Movement Speed (0.50% per point)
Gold Pickup Radius (0.5 per point)
The bottom three all provide a reasoble choice but Max Resource does not affect you much. When casting you run out because the regen is not upto it. Having more means you could maybe cast one more spell before running out but that it not going to help a vast amount.
So I say change it to Resource Generation the wizz currently has some problems in this area, but it can't harm other chars also.
Wizz: Arcane Power Regeneration ( 0.2 per point)
Barb: Fury Generation (0.2 pr hit)
Monk: Spirit Generation (0.2 per hit)
DH: Hatred and Discipline Regeneration (0.1 and 0.1)
Crusader: Wrath Generation (0.2 per hit)
The numbers are all made up the point is to make this usefull for a wizz or DH this could be a great help.
I thought the same thing, TBH when I read the Paragon sheets for the first time I saw "resource" and immediatly assumed it was generation. It was only later on reading it properly I noticed it was actually Max Resource, which I felt was a far weaker option.
Max resource is only useful if you feel it's a bad thing to cap out on resources, increased re/generation is FAR more useful in far more situations.
Perhaps that is the reason why there isn't a Resource Generation in the Utility tab? It would have to be really low in order not to break the game.
a fair point, and probably the real reason, but that doesn't change the fact that maximum resource is pretty poor
I'm thinking, just as you guys said, that being able to dump points into regeneration would probably be too hard to balance. Instead I'm willing to bet they put max resource into paragon points, because everything that has to do with regeneration is already built inside skill runes / class specific gear.
