Console version and skill description

  • #1
So im about 5 mins into the xbox 360 version of the game and would like to get a better description on my WD's skills. I can't seem to find out how much dmg my poision dart does for example. I go to my skills in the main menu and go to Grasp of the dead and all it says that it cost 75 mana and has a 8 second cooldown. No dmg or radius. Same with Poision dart..just says Costs 6 mana and it " Shoots a poision dart"
Please help, i've tried everything i can think of.
    Thanks

The PC version has the same problem. If you want to know what your skills actually do, you have to go to Blizzard's website : http://eu.battle.net...ive/poison-dart
Those infos are for the PC version, you have to assume the skills for the console version are the same.

Well on PC you just check the "detailed tooltip" option under the configuration tab, but I'm guessing you have looked around in the console options and not found anything?

No, you need to go into the options and turn the feature on.

I don't understand why they did those shortened descriptions. Its more confusing then helping I think. It's basically the same thing plus some numbers, how could that hurt anything?

To the OP: Like others pointed out, just turn on the detailed tooltips option in options menu.

    Tank you so much.
You think that would be something that they would add in the game manual or wait...on thier FAQ site.
I feel like without the numbers it kind takes away from the value of gameplay

No one knows, apparently it makes things less confusing for new players or something, it was a daft idea hiding the numbers, same with making elective mode an option rather than just being on.

Hehe, yeah people were feeling just like you do now... only a year ago... for the PC.

More or less, all agreed (at least those typing on this forum) that this option should be ON by default.

They should take that stuff out in RoS. I've never really understood hiding the numbers. :\

That being said, can't they put proc coefficients in-game too? :/
