They revamp EVERYTHING - completely new itemization, new skills and runes for every class, plus a new class and a new act. All the crafting and stuff... that needs a lot of balancing, stress testing and lots of data.
As a software developer I call total BS on 2 months, sorry. There is no way a 2 months beta is sufficient. Absolutely no way.
Yea, and they've had 8+ months working on loot 2.0. We wont be beta testing for balance unless the beta lets us play the entire game to 70. Instead we are beta testing for bugs. 2 months I say.
Holy crap holy crap holy crap! What are these dices? Charms? Talisman items? Crafting materials? Also, look at the newly shaped gems and the two legendary (stacked) items...
2h flails was already indirectly confirmed in another interview, IIRC.

Dude its not like they release a beta client that's in shambles. They release a beta for balancing and bug fixes, you're not helping them code on the back end or anything lol.
Man, I just realized 2 things:
1) I might leave my loved Monk and start playing Crusader as a main
2) I posted about 10 interviews here on the last 2 days

Hi,
Could someone give me some basic info on the carryover, if any, from D3 vanilla to RoS?
It makes sense that once you start playing RoS you'll start from scratch and none of your characters, inventory or paragon levels from D3 vanilla carries over to RoS.
But, I have seen that paragon levels are account bound. I hope that doesn't mean that it carries over from D3 vanilla to RoS, but that it is shared between normal characters in D3, or normal characters in RoS but not across the original game and the expansion, and that the same holds true for money, characters and items.

Could be a mode where you can teleport to any act, without cutscenes or dialogues. It would also bring the features "Loot Runs", "Bounties" (mistery) and "Exploration" (mistery)

Thanks for your help and the link. I'm still not clear if characters from D3 vanilla can continue in the expansion. That wouldn't make any sense since they haven't completed the new Act 5 in any difficulty.
So I'm guessing that paragon levels carry over and you can use it to boost your new characters in the expansion if you like but that your characters, money and items from D3 vanilla can only be played in D3 vanilla?

You won't lose anything and your characters WILL be able to play Act V. However, how this process will happen will be clarified by Blizzard "soon"

Its np. The two stacked legendary bones however are interesting. Most likely a crafting reagent.
