Well, they can keep burning it slowly day by day until BlizzCon or until there's official word that there will be an expansion. Then they can just burn everything off at once and go, "OH HEY! Look everyone!"
I see no connection with expansion with this. How can a chinese site know more then blizz, when blizz have all the info for themselves?
Sometimes fansites get exclusive information. Very much like MMO gets lots of information before everyone else, but they're on an NDA. No one knows... could be nothing, could be the real deal.

No this is a PR stunt to get more visitors only, I think its about to change theme on tha background only.
D.163 is run by NetEase who are in a partnership with Blizzard and are the official licenser, or provider if you will, of Blizzard titles in China. China have strict censorship laws on the media industry and as such foreign titles need to be released through a domestic "host" that will even change parts of the game if need be (see WoW).
http://www.blizzplan...So it's not just some random web-site, they have a professional partnership with Blizzard. Not to mention, 163.com (the parent site) is one of the top 50 visited sites in the world.
I can't wait to see the next reveal. Even if this isn't an expansion image from Blizzard officially (I personally think it is, in my opinion) it's really exciting to see the final image regardless. It is looking pretty epic at this point. What time does it update each day?
[...] It changed last night at 9.30 PM AEST (my time in Australia) and has been changing every night at that same time. [...]
Thanks! I missed that. So that means it was 7:30 AM my time, in Philadelphia, PA (U.S. - Eastern standard time). So I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning for the next one.

I am not convinced, and getting exclusive information is very very very rare on one site. Anyone got proof of exclusive information?

As for the "exclusive" bit, every major fansite got a hands-on interview with the devs this summer for some "exclusive" information (some got less, some got more). Blizzard uses this to promote said fansites and make sure they all have plenty of visitors; it's their contribution to keep the fansite communites strong. It would make total sense to give some exclusive teaser images to this Chinese fansite; creates a huge buzz, but no one knows for sure, so lots of hype and speculation. In the end, everyone's stoked and that fansite is happy. Win-win.
Here is a rundown of what I think I can see;
But getting panties in a bunch is half the fun, dude!

Shows the Black Soulstone, Imperius, Itherael, and Auriel!
Like I said, MMO is quite open about it, since it's not a secret anymore. They even had a timer for when the MoP NDA was lifted: http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/2685-Soon

New angel in the foreground and it looks like Malthael is to the right lurking in the shadows, you can see the distinct shape of his sickle and hood.
Could this be symbolic of the Black Soulstone's fall from heaven?
