It could also be the "Venture Capitalist", with bonuses to gold find/magic find, extra damage to goblins, can buy AH items for 10% of the price, no AH fee for selling items, can snip items 10 sec before the real end of the auction, other classes only see new auctions 15 min after Venture Capitalists, AH accessible while playing the game, bonus damage depending on the amount of gold you own, etc...
we already have a "summoning class", I think it's more likely that it will be the druid
There is always the possibility they will be once again adding two new classes to a Diablo expansion. And seeing that Blizzard's class design is mostly impeccable, I say the more the better.

"Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the small death that brings total obliteration."
The Druid - Focus will be mainly elemental spell ranged attacks, and shapeshifting melee attacks. Will have some summoning capabilities. Fire / Cold / Lightning and Physical for it's main damage types. Since they are the brothers of the Barbarians, they use strength.
The Dark Zealot - Melee and short range spell caster. Wears heavy armor and is proficient in shields. It's a merging of the Paladin and the Necromancer.
Damn it tomorrow is my Sunday, but I can't wait for it to come so we can get a sneak peak!!!

Although I agree it will most likely be the druid, I'm really expecting 2 classes; The other of course being the necro. It has been said by the dev team in a few places that the WD is not a summon character but more of a voodoo magic character that has 3 summoning spells. So I fully expect a dedicated summoning class to come out by the end of D3 that has multiple types of summons and spells that directly influence the summons you have. Where as the druid I'm guessing you'll have 3-5 form spells with a bunch of dedicated spells for each form some universal some exclusive, and of course some spells for human form as well but no pet summoning. if there is it'll be like 1 or 2 like the WD.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
I doubt that Blizzard will give us 2 new classes. They will make 2 Addons in the end with 1 new class per addon. 2 Classes now and 1-2 classes in addon2 would be too much.
Also I'd rather have 1 new class with really new skills instead of 2 new classes and just rushed skills, which are either a duplicate of other class skills or have lame rune effects.
Make 1 class, but make it a legend.
I doubt that they'll give us only 1. They definitely had ideas on the table and rough designs that were being smoothed out when they launched this game possibly even before that. 2 new classes an addon wouldn't even be that many with just 4 new classes and 5 pre-existing ones that makes the total 9 classes. D2 had 7 mind you so 2 more wouldn't be overly saturating it. Plus it adds more classes for the dev team to mess around with and use for different archetypes.

There is but a difference: D2 had 8 player multiplayer. D3 has 4 player multiplayer. 4 player games, but 9 classes wouldnt feel right.
And yes, D2 gave us 2 new classes, but blizzard proved us all that D3 is NOT D2. D2 had 1 addon with 2 classes. D3 will have (at least) 2 addons. It's more likely that they will give us 1 new class.
They have enough other stuff to focus on in the expansion
And why do you think they won't make the games now available for 5 or 6 people instead of 4? It makes sense that they will add more space for people when they add more classes.
They won't do 5-6 because when you have 4 people blasting super high effect skills you really can't see shit if you're in the middle, and you end up misclicking. It is this way with 4 players too just less.

My mate at work seems to think that there was a video of Deckard Cain as a Demon around the time of the D3 Beta...
He put his tinfoil hat on and said that Deckard Cain will be the Reaper of Souls...
Am now actively trying to find this video/clip he was talking about..
I think the DH has far too many rogue elements for their to be a thief class. In my opinion the gaps in playstyles suggest a S&B character and/or a shapeshifter/nature mage. A Necromancer isn't out of the question but it would need to be somewhat retooled.

So... they didnt want to bring back the paladin so they gave him a new name and he's the new class The Crusader. Not a big surprise to have a str based class.
Now to see if sword and board can beat pure dps!
Edit : He's actually a mid-range melee class using flail and board*
New level cap, act 5 in westmarch, sounds good!
(Do my memorie play tricks on me or back in teh days they said they would not raise the level cap and not make an extra act?.... hmm... will have to look that up)

A class isn't about only what weapons/equips it uses, it's about the lore, the story and the gameplay elements behind it.
What characterized the Paladin on D2 were Auras, focus on Shields and the Holy theme. They can't bring back a class that has the exact 2 elements of a new class (Monk). Hence the name, and probably lore-related, changes.
i see what you did there...

Druid and Dark Zealot! DRUID AND DARK ZEALOT!
A playable scoundrel?
Aka Demon Hunter? ;-)
If I had to choose I'd want a Paladin. And I guess the other class will be druid, some kind of shapeshifter is really missing.
