Yeah that kinda baffles me. The first legendary revamp was a step in the right direction, but only a step. There are still toooooooo many marginal legendaries - I got a near-perfect Wizardspike yesterday, for example. I'll be lucky to get 25-50k for that. None of my alts even need it. It's a very strange weapon, it's a pretty decent idea, but it just isn't *good enough*... it needs something more. The only people it could possibly appeal to are DWers who really want resist all on a weapon or Wizards who are desperatly in need of a high APS weapon with APoC but can't afford a quality Chantodo's.

I love the Frozen Orb throwback honestly. I had a Wizardspike that had pretty bad rolls, but I had trouble crushing it because I thought the effect was just awesome. But that single effect just isn't going to make it useable. The rest of the stats are MEH. I love the idea of a weapon with resist all. That could work with some builds, it's not common... but again, it just doesn't prove to be all that special in the current game.

They definitely need more work and I hope that they have a good handle on what did work and what did not work with the first revamp and can use that knowledge to do it better this time around.

I really do not like Trading Post at all. In that way you will never be able to trade the way you do it now with gold or money because no one will trade a yellow or more for an orange or green item. I mean that you will not be able to get upgrades because always you will have to trade equally value items.
This might work if you able to trade more items at once. So if i have 2 yellow worthy items i can trade them with a worthy orange. I really disliked the idea of Trading Post. Immature at least.
That is why we invented money first place. To be able to trade!

The idea absolutly needs to be refined, I just gave a brief idea of what would be an interesting concept. The entire point of it would be to find a happy medium between the "super convenient" AH/RMAH of D3 and the old "not so convenient" D2 trading. Combining the two taking both the good and bad would make for a truly amazing experience.

Love everything here but the trading post. I like the idea of the trading post but blizzard would never give up the RMAH how that they make money off of it. Personally I think the RMHA is a terrible idea and the current from of the AH needs some real improvement beyond what they have done already. I'm sure one of the arguments from blizzard would be along the lines of, "The RMHA helps off-set the cost of running the servers for the game due in part that there are no subscription fees for Diablo 3.".

I like the trading post idea but I'm sure it would never happen because of the aforementioned reason. The current AH is helpful for the more casual players who don't spend the time to farm, but it's almost like it's part of the game as a requirement not an optional thing that, to me, should of been.

Beyond that, I'm really on board with all the other ideas and think they would fit very well in the game. The mystic (witch I still don't get why it was cut from the game), and the expanded dungeons are brilliantly presented ;p

I like most of what is in the OP's list of suggestions, but I would argue that it would be a good thing to not limit the new tiles/areas to Inferno only. Having everything leading up to Inferno left to rot just sucks, especially for Hardcore mode where you will level up more than you would in Softcore mode. Having a better play experience across the board would work wonders for many aspects of this game as opposed to just making it "endgame only", which is a major problem with the current model.

I don't agree with your "Trading Post" idea. It significantly reduces the value of gold. Lowering the frequency/amount of gold drops, makes may increase its extrinsic value but it's intrinsic value is greatly slashed. It's only use then would be for repairs, craft and your new ideas. What if I don't have enough gold to do does things? I can manually sell my items for gold via chat (have you experienced people spamming their items on general chat?) and or 3rd party channels right? Where's your efficiency then? You just made it revert to the D2 days.

The Trading Post also introduces another problem, it uses the barter system. If I can only trade items for items in the system then every time I pick up something seemingly good it should be posted on the Trading Post in case someone wants it. If there is a limit to posting, then a bunch of items will be stuck in my stash until a slot is free. I would also have to hoard a bunch of gear to trade for something I need. What if my item is worth 10 pieces of gear? How can I get a good deal then? Also, what if a lot of people want my gear and started spamming me item offers? You mentioned some kind of search filters, fine. If nothing is in there of my liking then I have wasted my time filtering. Imagine what those who offered something will feel when they have to wait for you to respond only to get ignored. And while they are waiting, the value of their gear might have gone down due to the current gear trend. What happens then to those items in your stash?

This primitive barter system will encourage player interaction sure, but efficiency is severely limited.

    That's the whole point.
The AH is a problem because it's too efficient.

They can implement everything cept removing the AH... Hands off my AH, specially the RMAH. One of the coolest things in this game is that you can actualy profit with irl money by being a tad more smart than the rest.. Loving it.

Did anyone see a sword with a scope? Not unless you play Diablo 3. My no1 whish for next patch is to NEVER see a shield with Demon Hunter stats or a quiver with Barbarian stats. The simple appearance of such combinations makes the whole game dumb. Please note that I do not ask to increase the dropping rate of ubber items, it may be fine as it is, but when the stats are generated, please generate only meaningful items, even if it is just to sell them.

2nd. Luckily the gameplay was fixed since its launch (when it was so broken that all of us should have asked for a refund), but the Action House still remains terrible. Often searches dont show all items, such as if I search for a +50 strength ring I dont get a +80 strength ring but if i search for a +75 I do. Current Bid often is wrong, one needing to guess what is the proper amount to bid, meanwhile getting endless low bid messages. Filters dont allow all posible options, for instance one cannot search Attack Speed & for ceratin item types although there are items that posses that stat, and the list goes on.

p.s. Trading Post and other ideeas in this article are not really practical.

I dont understand the hype for these suggestions and even an interview now? A half decent game designer would come up with better. And half of these suggestions arent well thought out. impractical or just completely rubbish.
