I guess I got baited and fell for the trolls in this forum. And sorry for calling anyone an "idiot" but I guess it's ok to call people flies attracted to shit and get away with it, but if you call him an idiot it's an infraction. But hey @shaggy I was just trying to educate the people coming here and just jumping on the "Kripp-Bash-Wagon" and speaking of him as THE-devil-"elitist"-hardcore-money-making-machine but there's no point it's like trying to speak to a wall, every little thing you say gets twisted and gets taken out of context. Ignorance is indeed bliss.
Peace. Z out of this thread
That is an age old expression for "expressing" how something one feels is bad may draw a great deal of attention. There is a HUGE difference between using such an expression, not even loosely aimed at a member of the forum, and what you did....directly calling another member an "idiot" (me I reckon).
Disagree, be passionate, but leave the personal insults in yo pocket, my friend.
Get your facts straight before you start bashing your fellow gamers.
He was talking about the dozens of people who post their shitty videos here on a daily basis with the hopes of BECOMING the "next Kripparian."
You don't have to look too far around here to find streams where people are doing some kind of giveaway to attract people. That's what Ruksak was talking about and it was pretty obvious he wasn't talking about Kripp because we all know Kripp doesn't do giveaways.
He was referring to how Kripp's "celebrity status" has created, literally, hundreds of people who are trying to copycat his success. He wasn't really knocking Kripp at all with that statement - if anything he was kinda referring to him as "the original" in that respect.
That and he was pointing out that, most of the time, bad publicity is better than no publicity and that Kripp ultimately would rather people hating on him than people completely forgetting about him. I don't think there is anything all too objectionable about that?
Sometimes meanings get lost in text. I think that's what this is a case of?
1) PoE is more complex than D3, denying it just makes you look like you havnt played both games. Not saying it requires deep theory crafting but its way more complex than d3. The amount of changes you can make to items and skill builds trumps d3 anyday.
2) PoE is developing more quick and while most skills are useless, they continue to add useful skills as well. Plus the developers are looking to be the best. Thats the mentality winners need to have. Always looking to improve and make sure they live up to it. Plus they add new items which completely can make a new build of some sort. Sure they might not be the most effective build but the added content is what matters.
3) I agree with you.
4) Youre highly mistaken and youve been watching a bit too much kripparian. Sure you can alt f4, but if you make a critical error you die much quicker in poe than you do in d3. There are higher penalties all around the game and trust me when i say this, d3 was piss easy. First time i played D3 was at release and yes i can link you my profile if you want proof of pre nerf inferno clear and i remember them saying that i will spend countless hours in inferno dying. I did die ill give them that but i think i finished inferno in a week max. Path? Heck idied in cruel, i died a lot in merciless.
Anyways im just pointing out how you are being biased towards d3.
d3 positives - WAY better gameplay and animations imo.
Is PoE more complex, sure, but in the same breath I really do think a lot of people overestimate how much more complex PoE is than D3. Could it be way more complex, oh yes, PoE has the infrastructure to be a very engaging game, but at the moment, their implementation of it, they pigeon hole plays to play a certain way which rips the complexities right out from the game. In their attempts to be more complex with mechanics such as armor or evasion they shot themselves in the foot. if you aren't playing Path of Health Nodes you can be sure you aren't going anywhere fast.
The itemization in the game is actually way more terrible than Diablo 3's by far, so the complexity of "crafting" your own items has been removed from the game. It is way more efficient and wiser to just collect orbs and trade for your gear than using the "complex" orb system.
Sure they are "developing" more quickly, but is that what they need? PoE has a lot of fundamental flaws with the game that need to be addressed (itemization, maps, health node requirements, netcode and desync), but instead they have been remaining silent and pushing out new skill gems, etc. Diablo 3 could have been doing that all along as well, just pushing out "new" stuff. That isn't what either game needs. Rolling out the "new" when your game has fundamental flaws is just putting lipstick on a pig. It is still a pig.
People bashing Krip... did you even watch the video? I've watched the video posted on OP, he never said anything offensive or elitist in any way or form. Just like on most of his other videos. People bashin Krip just for the sake of joining the krip-bash-band wagon is just disgusting. If you felt offended by anything Kripparrian said then please point it out at least.
Only slightly offensive thing that was in the video was little talk about "fanboys" etc from Alkaizer and the 3rd dude's voice in the video. Most of the time Krip was just playing PoE and not paying attention to most of the things Alkaizer and the 3rd dude were saying.
Just don't understand what all this bashing's about and why so many people are butthurt about this video. And people taking offense from words like "idiot" is just silly. Grow up.
Yes I watched the OP
No I am going to take the time to watch it again, I lost some IQ watching the first time.
He said things that were offensive.
With the amount of time he spent playing D3, the things he said about Blizzard either make him a liar or VERY stupid. Why would you play something so much if it was bad? For the challenge? Fine, then you were presented with a challenge that must have done something postitive for you or why would you do it?. I am not sorry. He seems like a real ass. He got thousands of hours of playtime and some fame for $60. He seems really ungrateful and dishonest.
Fine, I called you an idiot. I clearly don't know you or who you are or whether you're truly an idiot or not. If you're taking it seriously and being butthurt then just lol.
errrmm...no sir. I'm not mad (butthurt?) at all. You're the one that got smacked with the mod stick (a feeling I can relate with).
No hard feelings here.
Krip never needed any promotion, he never offered freebies to people to watch his stream, he never bribed people. The reason people watched his stream was because he was racing for world first hardcore inferno diablo kill. And he and Krippi managed to do it the night before patch 1.0.3 hit which nerfed inferno. So that gives him some bragging rights because not many people have managed to achieve that before the nerf, in fact it was only like 2-3 people probably. Don't associate him with just sweeping generalisation implying that he bribed people to watch his stream and baited people to donate money to him like many of the other streamers that you and lots of other people clearly hate and which I can fully understand why. Get your facts straight before you start bashing your fellow gamers.

If someone thinks he isn't entitled to the small revenue he gets for producing a youtube video every_single_day of a year your just wrong and probably jealous in ways I have a hard time understanding.
I don't think anyone actually said he's not entitled to it. Grats for him, I'm impressed. He does a great job at earning a living in a non-standard manner and he should get all the kudos in the world for that.
HOWEVER.............
Don't be so foolish as to not believe that he needs people to be interested in PoE to make that revenue and therefore has to help create that interest himself. He has financial motive to trash talk D3 (or to let people like Alkaizer do it on his stream). He's not streaming D3 therefore people being interested in D3 doesn't put food on his plate.
I don't hate him for what he says, at all. Quite the contrary. I love the fact that he can and that he puts his nuts on the line to do it. What I am saying (and probably others here) is not to be so naive as to misunderstand his motives. Kripparian saying D3 sucks is not anything more than a necessity to drive more people to watch his stream so that he can drink some OJ. His criticism is as much publicity as it is his legitemate opinion.
I'd, PERSONALLY, rather just get honest evaluations and leave the publicity for the suckers. That is my ONLY issue with what he says. ONLY issue. Period. For me, listening to Kripparian, is basically like listening to Fox News or MSNBC - there might be a bit of truth to what they're saying but there's a whole lot of poetic license too.
Most of us are adults here and know that you can't leech of someone else your entire life, you need to have a source of income to exist. There are multiple ways to earn that with streaming but only a few select people do it solely because they are very good at what they do. If someone thinks he isn't entitled to the small revenue he gets for producing a youtube video every_single_day of a year your just wrong and probably jealous in ways I have a hard time understanding. What people are trying to tell you is not weather or not he makes money, but that the way he does is as viewer friendly as possible.
I'm beginning to see a very clear inferiority complex surrounding the casual players responding to this thread. Getting offended on a personal level great enough to start blackballing someone who makes your accomplishments seem like a grain of sand on a beach is silly. If you have insecurity issues big enough to hate someone for making a statement like 'wow the competition is pretty bad' after winning a long term competition by something like 40% to the next person, I suggest keeping it to yourself.
I'd like to field this misnomer.
I'm not sure why you jumped the shark tank on this idea that envy drives disdain. It has been explained numerous times that the comments of "WoW fanboys" and "casuals" was intended to hit it's mark, and hit it's mark it has.
I suggest he alienated many players, as if to say, "if you follow me, you forsake D3. If you do not foresake D3, you're a scrub."
Why would I be jealous?
I have a beautiful teenage daughter, great friends, hobbies (mostly outdoorsman shit), a good job and several rental properties. A lifestyle that enables me to have leisure time, more so than many. And I am grateful for this blessing.
I would imagine some of the others here whom voice dissent at Kripp's remarks could chime in with similar comments. To suggest that there is jealously afoot, well......I'm not sure that follows.
As for this large bunch of people not liking in him in this thread you're referring to are basically 4 people that are clearly friends from before
These "friends" you're speaking about....me and Shaggy have had at it before, though respectfully so. Zero has spanked my backside on multiple occasions with his mod stick. Just doing his duty, and I never took it personal.
To put it bluntly, I'll be "friends" with anyone here, so long as they don't act like a dickhead.
Now...If Kripp was to come here and apologize for his remarks, maybe clarify what he meant when he so haphazardly alienated D3 fans with such sweeping labels, it would go a long way to stave off this "hate".
I doubt he gives a fuck, and neither do I. Who is he to me? Who am I to him? Two ships passing in the night, middle fingers extended to full range.
I would imagine some of the others here whom voice dissent at Kripp's remarks could chime in with similar comments. To suggest that there is jealously afoot, well......I'm not sure that follows.
I personally have nothing against Kripp, in fact I watch his stream from time to time. He seems like a pretty chill laid back guy, but he certainly does seem to harbor some angst towards games he considers "casual" and aren't designed to be played for 12+ hours a day for two years straight.
I remember when Blizzard announced Hearthstone he took his fair share of shots at the game for a multitude of reasons. It seems as if he has this attitude that if a game isn't created with him in mind then it clearly deserves to be shit all over.
It very well all may be tongue in cheek, but I also see how his comments could just rub people the wrong way in the same breath.
People bashing Krip... did you even watch the video? I've watched the video posted on OP, he never said anything offensive or elitist in any way or form. Just like on most of his other videos. Again, you've missed the logic train (and I've said this on this thread alone 3 times already). Nobody's judging him only from that video. His attitude throughout his whole gaming "career" (if you can even call that) was always the same. Please go watch some of his youtube videos or a couple hours of his stream, or better, get a psychologist friend to do it and give you a personality analysis; maybe you'll trust a judge who's not "biased" as we are.
It is a dream that the greatest (athlete, gamer, entertainer, programmer, etc) is humble. It doesn't exist.
You obviously don't know soccer players like Beckham, Messi and Ronaldo, or some Hollywood personalities, they're extremely humble for what they've achieved (which actually matters), and fow how many people they've helped during their career. To even imagine someone like Kripparian on the "greatest" class is outright disgusting. It's ok to be proud of yourself. Kripparian takes that and multiplies by 1e+100.
I know people believe they are close to these guys in level of play but it just isn't true.
Yeah.... you might wanna read some posts from earlier in the thread (Jaetch's one is very short and to the point), regarding their oh-so-mighty knowledge of the games they play. This part of your post is the proof that people who like/follow these people believe they're divine personas that are beyond any sort of doubt.
In this aspect, the SC2 community is miles ahead of the WoW/Diablo one. People watch multiple progamer streams, and they're not willing to accept everything a guy like Day9 or HDSc say without doubting it.
Kripp fans should really check Day9's stream and chat to get a clue how a really intelligent and humble person is, and how his fans reflect that.
What to take from this is that the greatest Diablo gamers have pretty much moved on. And why does it even matter?
It matters because people blindly follow these "preachers". The same way people blindly follow some religions, being very narrow minded to any sort of comment that's different from what they hear from ministers. And then they repeat all that like mindless sheep hypnotized, even though it doesn't affect them, and even though it's not what's good for everyone, but only for those people.
I wish Blizzard would have just dropped the Diablo name from the game. It isn't D1/D2. Totally different developers behind it that had no intention of making a game like D1/D2. If this game was named "Fast Food Hack n Slash" I think it would have still sold and not had as much heat from the Diablo crowd.
Just because a franchise doesn't keep all of its old systems, doesn't take away its credit.
Thank God the developers are different. As I said before, the D1/D2 developer quit to make his own "Diablo clone" game, it had all these systems people want so desperately, and it was a massive failure
I have a beautiful teenage daughter, great friends, hobbies (mostly outdoorsman shit), a good job and several rental properties. A lifestyle that enables me to have leisure time, more so than many. And I am grateful for this blessing.
Buuurrrrrrnnnn.... Thanks for saying it for me, too. Also, you forgot healthy -> the most important one
These "friends" you're speaking about....me and Shaggy have had at it before, though respectfully so. Zero has spanked my backside on multiple occasions with his mod stick. Just doing his duty, and I never took it personal.
I know you like it!
People just don't like seeing intelligent people banding together to contradict their beliefs. Goes back to the whole religion argument I made on my previous post. Blind sheep will be blind sheep, and boy will they attack anyone who even threaten to doubt their shepherd.
Why would you get involved in issues that don't affect you at all? Why would you dodge questions your party hasn't stomped on several times already? Why would you say so many outrageous thing you have? Why would you spread false propaganda about issues you don't fully understand? Why would you blackball someone for things they have not done?
Dodge questions? Maybe I missed something, lots going on back and forth here. I'll field any question you wish to poise my way.
I actually liked Kripp for the most part. I caught a few of his vids earlier in Diablo 3's life and walked away feeling like I had learned something. Moreover, he seems like the kind of dude I could spark one up with and hang. Athene, not so much. Seems like I'd have to put that sugar-rushed child in a timeout chair. Though admittedly, he;s garnered a few laughs out of me.
The comments in the vid posted in the OP rubbed me the wrong way. Not because he insulted my precious Diablo 3 (<<<sarcasm), but I have developed a particular vile disgust for the term "fanboy".
Immature, meaningless and altogether stupid fucking thing to say.
It may have been Alk that made those comments, not sure, but Kripp could've spoke up and shot down the use of that ignorant term.
Why would you get involved in issues that don't affect you at all?
I heard stating your opinion is forbidden nowadays. And trying to help people keep their minds open is a crime. Except not.
Why would you say so many outrageous thing you have?
It's outrageous to say I like the game, it's outrageous to point out that people are literally wasting their life bashing on a game 6 months after they stopped playing (aka the haters), it's outrageous to state that someone behaves like a prick instead of a man, it's outrageous to say that some of the beliefs spread about D3 are absolute fallacies from people with no clue about game development.
You're also conveniently ignoring that there has been a DOZEN+ people on this thread alone confirming a lot of what I said. In a reasonable manner, not with the typical trollpost ("yeah bra John can go fuck himself if he doesn't like this he can go play PoShitxile"). I can also point you to quite a few examples of these in case you have a hard time identifying them.
Why would you blackball someone for things they have not done?
I have never said a single thing in this thread that it's not easily confirmable by just watching a couple youtube videos or twitch VODs. The truth is there, it has been said (AGAIN) by more than a dozen people on this thread alone; and funny enough, by quite a few dozen people commenting on said youtube videos and even on the stream chat. I'm really sorry the truth just doesn't match your own beliefts.
These question cannot be answered with reason because you do not care about reason. What makes it even harder to convince someone as blinded as you is that because you keep doing this back and forth hi-fiving among friends which suppresses the effectiveness of an outsiders response and makes it easier to completely forget about it.
Again, just read the last 14 pages again. Your conveniently ignoring how there's not just 4 people stating these things, and how a lot of the same arguments have been upvoted.
I'm not a big Athene fan (don't visit his youtube, never even watched his stream), but doesn't he actually use some of the money he gains to promote himself even more, and such insane self-promotion turned into a crapload of money to charity?
Well, then you should really watch this clip of him (when he isn't trolling)...
Just because a franchise doesn't keep all of its old systems, doesn't take away its credit.
Thank God the developers are different. As I said before, the D1/D2 developer quit to make his own "Diablo clone" game, it had all these systems people want so desperately, and it was a massive failure
Developers*. Blizzard North is gone. Diablo 3 might as well have been made by ID Software or EA. The name was kept entirely for brand recognition only. If it wasn't named Diablo 3 it would still be a very flawed game. I know you've admitted as much. The thing I'm laughing at lately is the jumping on the Blizzard bandwagon with why the game sucks. Jay Wilson admits the auction house was a mistake. Next on the list is near zero social aspect (Bnet1 style > Bnet2 style, chat system not up to SC2/WoW par), lack of end game still (Thank Kripp for Paragon levels), lack of any form of public event (PoE has race ladders and they can be extremely fun), and lack of replayability (ladders, build system, etc).
I don't understand why people are offended at what Kripp / other guy said. You didn't develop the game. They call it easy right? Well Kripp is 1 of 2 people (the other being Krippi who was with him) that beat the game pre-nerf on Hardcore Inferno. So pretty much things that are easy to them are a nightmare for others. This guy wins pretty much every race he enters in PoE which puts everyone on the same level (1 hour, 3 hour, etc set playing time starting from complete scratch with no advantages given to anyone). I know you dismiss that certain players are way above the norm but when they win near 100% of the races (Kripp crushing ~2000 to 5000 people over and over) and always finish top (Reckful just had Rank 1 on 2 different classes in WoW again for instance) I guess it could all be luck. I'm still waiting on my turn at a good dice roll :-)
Would this thread even have been created if these two were pro D3? I understand its all the rave to be ragging on D3 and repeating ad nauseum what everyone has said already, but I get the idea that everyone would have conveniently ignored them if they were discussing D3 in a better light. I still dont get what the big deal is with them and it isnt because i dont understand online games, online friends, competition, etc. Is it just because they put the most time in to reach end game before everyone else and therefore it makes them some sort of authority on this game? Would any of you follow my stream given my prior "life story" in this thread? I highly doubt it. Im not trying to contribute to any flaming of these guys (theyre making a living, more power to them, gaming4serious just isnt for me), but I just dont understand what makes them so much more important than the rest of us. Genuinely curious is all.
The only challenge i run into in D3 is TIME. I just dont have the time to put into it to have all the top gear or have all paragon 100s and such. To me thats the hardest part of the game by far. The game itself could be played by a monkey, not to say I dont enjoy it. I find it to be great relief to come home from work and just smash my way through a few caves like a maniac before bed. But I refuse to believe there to be any real skill involved in anything after all the games ive played. I play a lot of first person shooters (No, not that shit we call COD or Halo) and definitely understand the skill involved in games like that. The more you play, the better you get at those games. In D3, I havent really grown any sort of skill, ive just grown a better inventory. And even then, a lot of you would probably laugh your asses off at my lone Monk who is only at Plvl25 or so. And its cool, every game has a crowd like that, it doesnt bother me much.
I would just like to know what causes a thread like this to be created. They have not added anything NEW to be discussed, it just seems like its the fact they said it. It reminds me of kids in school who must hear out the popular kid about a new trend before they pick up said trend. Even though it was a trend BEFORE that cool kid said anything about it.
Edit: For the record i dont know these guys. Ive never seen a single stream, video, etc. I just see them mentioned a lot.
Just because a franchise doesn't keep all of its old systems, doesn't take away its credit.

Well one thing im not a kripp/crapp follower but the things he says are right. He has more experience.
Now if someone better than kripp came along and directly challenged his views then that would be cool.Someone who could crush kripp in gaming. However comments like "Kripp knows nothing" sounds lame from gamers who are still posting on forums about what they should buy with their 300m.
Now im gonna get a lot of posts about how "We got family, kids and wives to fuck(That had really made me LOL hard) and kripp has time." If you not got time, its not kripp's fault he has.Time is required to play games too.
Its like inviting someone to a feat of strength and then whining after losing that he had more time to excercise.
Look im not saying kripp's the best. But i am not at a level to challenge him simply because he has more experience.I have not won every race i have entered in.I have not beat diablo pre-nerf.Kripp has.So he is better.
However if someone along the same lvl of skill as kripp challenged him it would sound more appropriate rather than giving a hint of jealousy.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Grinding Gear Games (Company that produced POE): "These are great Ideas, we will use them for sure as they are clearly what the player base is looking for."
Blizzard: "While we agree that this game needs re-working and that these ideas could help the future of this game, we have no plans to listen to our fan-base at this time."
Jay Wilson admits the auction house was a mistake.
I can't really remember what's the exact quote, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't precisely that.
IIRC, he said the "Auction Houses really hurt the game", in the sense that if you have cheap awesome gear being sold on a regular basis, each and every drop becomes less valuable, and the feeling of getting "good drops" (which a lot of people complain about, but don't realize they've changed this 2/3 times - God I sound like a broken record on this) suffers.
lack of end game still (Thank Kripp for Paragon levels)
Again, this is what we've talked about for like 10 pages in this thread alone. The whole idolatry.
No I will not thank Kripp for Paragon levels. The idea for end-game levels was on the official forums weeks (at least) before he made a video. Did he bring light to the issue?Absolutely YES. Would I thank him for THAT? Hell, yes. Is he the only one responsible for it? Absolutely not, the community is.
Well Kripp is 1 of 2 people (the other being Krippi who was with him) that beat the game pre-nerf on Hardcore Inferno.
That's the entitlement and epeen that gives a reason for the whole criticism.
There was quite a few doubts whether they bought gear with real money (some people at d2jsp might point you to the vestiges), or how they got spoon fed by the rest of the "team"; whether or not he would be able to do it solo (you know, without going Tank + Glass Cannon, with him stacking 1.5k+ LoH/EHP, and Krippi doing all the damage), or how they farmed Treasure Goblins (essentially exploiting checkpoints in the game, which again was discovered by others far more brilliant than him) for a week to get the gear needed.
Not everyone goes on these sites or have a stream up to post their progress. There are thousands of people who probably don't even know or care about racing to the end, but have completed this already. They just sit at home playing the game and minding their own business.
Hell, I didn't even mess around on forums for a while when playing WoW or D2. I just played to play. If someone else got world first and didn't post anything about it, they would of been the kind of person I was back in the good old days.
I heard this guy reasoning in videos. Everything i know about this person - how he plays - etc. - Just makes me withdrawing from actually congratulating. I honestly don't think he deserves a Grats nor recognition. He's a tool at best - Being carried and fed gear - Just to go and trash-talk people from an ivory tower where he talks about he doesn't understand Blizzards choices when he sits on his mountain of gear.
All Kripparrian did was get fed gear by Krippi and the rest of No Life, then proceed to bad mouth every Barbarian on his stream if they couldn't full clear inferno as well. Then he goes and dies in HC multiple times just to get power leveled by his buddies over and over.
This guy deserves credit alright, for being the biggest troll in all of Diablo 3.
All credit goes to Krippi and the other unknowns within No Life that literally handed this guy his gear and characters, then proceeded to carry him through the content.
Anyways, let's not go there. I'm happy to see posts from guys like Kaoskadosk and SexyShane. If 10% of the people who see this thread change their hearts and stop blindly following the angry-mob mentality, the whole discussion has fulfilled its purpose.
I know you dismiss that certain players are way above the norm
We absolutely don't. I can link to a few dozen videos from him where he provides some top-notch amazing information. He is definitely above the average gamer, definitely above me and many others. /watch?v=0YZd680H5EE /watch?v=33UDzGZTHPI /watch?v=GtAreSOCyDw /watch?v=sxoCjzETlyU /watch?v=1iXSpDeVsO4
Does that make him a God and we should all agree with everything he says? Not really. Which is the point some of us have been trying to make here.
I'm sure there are at least a dozen "top notch" players on our forums. Jaetch being a great example. Don't want to leave out the rest but I'm occupied slightly at the moment. There are absolutely, definitely a lot of great players in our forums, on par or even maybe above Kripparian. How can they be above? Attitude.
Thing is... you dont need to be "top notch" to beat the game...
All you need is crazy gear, and you can faceroll the Content all you like.
The real Pro's faceroll the Content in Blues
I've also farmed the shit outta Act3/4 Inferno before 1.02 hit the Servers, am i special too now?
About Kripp... i can respect his opinion, while i dont always share it.
However, he is indeed a very good player with fast learning skills about the gamemechanics etc...
Thats not because he is a God, thats because he is experienced.
I've been playing Videogames for 30 Years now, after a while you get the hang of it...you dont need a Manual or Tutorial anymore to understand how something works, because you have seem it in a different game already.

EDIT
I just backed out to the General Discussion screen and... one of the top 10 posts was exactly what Ruksak was referring to.
He seems really ungrateful and dishonest.
errrmm...no sir. I'm not mad (butthurt?) at all. You're the one that got smacked with the mod stick (a feeling I can relate with).
No hard feelings here.
^^^nailed it......
I had all these words to type and now I gots nothin to do.

Yeah.... you might wanna read some posts from earlier in the thread (Jaetch's one is very short and to the point), regarding their oh-so-mighty knowledge of the games they play.
Just because a franchise doesn't keep all of its old systems, doesn't take away its credit.
Thank God the developers are different. As I said before, the D1/D2 developer quit to make his own "Diablo clone" game, it had all these systems people want so desperately, and it was a massive failure
I know you like it!
People just don't like seeing intelligent people banding together to contradict their beliefs. Goes back to the whole religion argument I made on my previous post. Blind sheep will be blind sheep, and boy will they attack anyone who even threaten to doubt their shepherd.
OHHH YEAH! Smack my bad baby bottom!!

Again, just read the last 14 pages again. Your conveniently ignoring how there's not just 4 people stating these things, and how a lot of the same arguments have been upvoted.
Well, then you should really watch this clip of him (when he isn't trolling)...

I am not a Fanboy by far, but i tip my hat to him for what he is actually doing charity wise.
Path of Exile - CleavieWonder (Elemental Cleave)
Blizzard: "While we agree that this game needs re-working and that these ideas could help the future of this game, we have no plans to listen to our fan-base at this time."
http://s1332.photobucket.com/user/Tester_3211/media/Diablo3devs_zpscc5fbac9.jpg.html?state=replace
Again, this is what we've talked about for like 10 pages in this thread alone. The whole idolatry.
No I will not thank Kripp for Paragon levels. The idea for end-game levels was on the official forums weeks (at least) before he made a video. Did he bring light to the issue? Absolutely YES. Would I thank him for THAT? Hell, yes. Is he the only one responsible for it? Absolutely not, the community is.
Some very popular quotes from back then:
We absolutely don't. I can link to a few dozen videos from him where he provides some top-notch amazing information. He is definitely above the average gamer, definitely above me and many others. /watch?v=0YZd680H5EE /watch?v=33UDzGZTHPI /watch?v=GtAreSOCyDw /watch?v=sxoCjzETlyU /watch?v=1iXSpDeVsO4 Does that make him a God and we should all agree with everything he says? Not really. Which is the point some of us have been trying to make here.
Ha. Bagstone.
All you need is crazy gear, and you can faceroll the Content all you like.
The real Pro's faceroll the Content in Blues
I've also farmed the shit outta Act3/4 Inferno before 1.02 hit the Servers, am i special too now?
