I'm not quite sure on who I should contact if I want this on the frontpage but I believe I have news the diablo 3 community deserves
A famour streamer has been botting for a very long time, I tried confronting him on his own stream, but with a ban as a result I believe a fansite like diablofans.com should support the community fightning botters by making it public.
You know, that's just a tiny bit of evidence. There's loads more apart from what you can find by simply googling his name. He's been at it in WoW as well. This guy is making a mockery out of Blizzard, the legit players, and his viewers.
The sadest thing is that Blizzard does not react. Numerous player reports have simply been ignored and, like I said, the evidence is quite staggering and way beyond reasonable doubt. It appears that they focus solely on automated bot detection so the cheaters' main account are perfectly safe as long as they don't use those for botting. He actually used his main for botting too at some point but that went undetected.
The thing is, botters make so much on their bots that they simply don't give a rat's ass if a few of their bots fall victim to a ban wave. They just fire up new ones. In the mean time, their main accounts flaunt their imba stuff to other players who have absolutely no chance to get such gear. He makes approx. 1 billion gold per week on his bots, according to himself.
People like him will never stop until Blizzard start banning their main accounts (to which the gold & gear is routed). I wish they had to guts to do that. I believe it would make the community happy to see consequences that matter.
All we can do it watch him snipe 2 billion items off the Auction House week after week.
Agree. Those people completely ruining the action house economy. Worst thing is, this botter is getting fame on twitch, and he might and up getting money from twitch, on top of the money he collects every day from his bots. his viewers are blind, and they dont have a clue what they're supporting. The guy usually have 400+ viewers, and i dont think this is the kinda person that people should look up to and envy, because of his emba gear. I think this thread is a great opportunity to reveal people like him.
That being said, i just wanna add, that i have no personal grudge against him. I just believe botters ruined diablo 3, and when someone this obvious go public like this, and grant this so-called internet fame, by being a rule violater, a cheater, they deserve to be taken down.
they could post it on the frontpage making blizz take action on this matter enough attention and they'll have to do something. Besides I believe taking out the top players is like fighting drug crime, banning small fish wouldn't help a thing
Wait.. what? The topic is no longer available (?) so I dunno if there was anything else.
But just because there was a post by a person with his name you assume it is the same one? You know, everyone can create an account with that name, not just the streamer you're talking about.
Or is there something I'm missing?
