Back from a 2 month break from D3 (Borderlands2Torchlight2Skyrimlolz)
And I see there have been many changes to the game, so;
I am very much in MF hunt mode, still low Paragon, and am at the point where I am farming for that magical "final set" of gear for when im capped out Paragon. (IK damn-it, shoot for the stars!)
Game factors in the MF from your gear, follower and paragon levels first (300% cap). Then it adds in NV values (75% cap). Then it adds Monster Power (25% per level).
It doesn't look like your BNet profile shows you in MF gear. Anyway, I recommend you don't focus on running MF gear/gear swapping and just stick to DPS+EHP gear to kill fast and reduce your own deaths. That way you can level faster, gain more stats and MF to kill faster, farm faster, gain more EXP, etc. It's a great repeating cycle that will make your character stronger.
I sold all my MF gear prior to 1.04 and never looked back. Paragon 88 now and going into every single game with 361% MF (22% follower, 264% paragon, 75% MP level 3) without any NV stacks.
Stick to farming Act III in all-out DPS+EHP gear. You won't regret it. Start out low MP and work your way up to MP3 or 4 for speed clears.

The 45% MF on the 1H and the 35% MF on the Ammy and the 40% MF in the Helm plus another 20% on the belt isn't "MF gear"? (gawd damn man, what was your MF gear like, lol.)
But!
I do have higher damage gear and capabilities, I will take heed of your advice and see where that can take me!
Ah, sorry. Not used to the phrase MF gear being on certain items. I dropped MF gear back when everyone rocked full MF sets head to toe. (I basically took a look at your armoy, didn't see high MF on the left-hand stats section, and closed the tab )
The best advice i can give is.. Drop the crappy MF from your gear, so you can farm more effective.. Pays off better in the end.
Remember. MF always comes instead of something better : p
Well, see what I want to know is this;
MP just ups MF/GF (along with the damage/health increase) right?
So, in theory, if I can have a higher MF, but at a lower MP, doesn't it work out the same as lower MF w/ more power in higher MP?
There are no other bonuses to MF other then the % right? Like no actual adjustments to the drop rates themselves.
To put it in simpler terms, I can swap out my MF specific gear, and just run off my Paragon + MP, but anything past MP5 and I will move at a snails pace, AND still be down like 100% MF..... this does not seem like it would work in my favor.

There is also a percent chance that every monster defeated will drop additional loot. This percentage increases per MP level. You won't get the same chances farming MP0 or 1 with MF gear.
See:
The monster damage has been significantly reduced though since this graphic was put up, but the MF/GF and bonus item numbers have not changed.

Numbers cheat. Do 1 hour of mp1 and 1 hour of lets say mp6.
I can guarantee you the following
#1. You have gained alot more exp on the mp1 run.
#2. You have found alot more rares
#3. You have found better rare / Due to the larger numbers,
#4. Overall you will get more Legendaries aswell, due to massive ammount of more mob kills
The monster health increase per mp level is just to large for the bonuses to make up for it. And thats a sad fact, but thats just how it is. The only things you do on high MP is doing key runs and ubber bosses as the drop chance for keys and organs are based on the mp level. For everything else, your better of zerging the low mp levels.
Claiming otherwise is simply just a sign of lack of understanding and knowledge. And yes its sadly widely spread among people that its best to farm as high mp as posible. But it is not.

To an extent.
You have to find your sweetspot. If you 1-shot all the trash mobs in MP3, you'll 1-shot trash mobs in MP1. My sweetspot is between MP3 and 4, which is what I stick with. You'll find yours after giving each level a test run.

Here is the MF gearz;

Now, I would assume that Act 3 is still the hotspot?
What would you guys recommend for MP settings with this setup? Should I go lower MP 1-2 and fast? Or slog through a higher MP?
Is the MF cap now at 375%? I hit 305 with 5 stacks ATM, should I be targeting said break point?

So, I did some minor experimentation last night. (obviously not super comprehensive)
So, did multiple Act 3 runs (Both keeps, full crater run to Azmo).
Run #1 (MP2 w/full MF gear)
1 Notable i63 ring (actual UPGRADE for me, huzzah)
Run #2 (MP2 w/full MF gear)
1 set ring (decent for Monk/DH), 1 very, very nice i63 2H
Run #3 (MP5 w/ no MF gear)
1 legendary belt, one decent i63 ammy
Run #4 (MP5 w/ no MF gear)
1 nice i63 helm
So.... in short..... pretty much the same.
lolz. I will be doing more testing obviously.
