Purchased it for about 60mill about a month ago, the key element for me was the Physical + All Resist + 10% cirt + Vit + DRFMA 6%. It rolls one shield every now and then, but virtually never with 24% block chance.
Any how that mate has got it mixed up with some trash and salvaged it, OH CRAP!!!!!!!!!. HAH AHAHA I know very funny, did not every get a brimstone, LOL. Any how I just wanted to ask blizzard to implement a way to temporary lock and item so this could not happen again as I know it would have to other people. If you could lock an item by shift right click and stop it from being salvaged or sold that would be great thanks Bliz.
He has a point though. I stand next the vendor, identifying rares. Then I sometimes forgot to click on the vendor before I start rapidly right-clicking to salvage items. Suddenly, half the items I was wearing get swapped into my inventory, and I see my DPS and other stats taking a nose-dive.
The problem is that if I (or someone else) don't notice the stats changing and end up selling an item I've payed millions for to the vendor?
A simple lock/unlock worn items would be useful.
PS. Franna403 your 'mate' probably lied about salvaging the shield and either sold it or is planning on wearing it.
Yes, sorry about the font, not sure what happened there.
So he had an inventory full of items. He had checked them all out to be no good, but had accidentally swapped the sacred shield over with one in the inventory just before salvaging. Because the graphic was the same he did not notice the swap and when the current safe guard comes up, which is just two pics showing the one one you have equipped and the one you are about to salvage. The (equipped) is the only thing showing you the difference between the two items, Accidents happen, as stupid as it may be band believe me we have make the point to him on many occasions, every 5 minutes or when a set itme dropes we go hey might salvage that, who needs the auction house, we will get out mileage out of this one.
But at the end of the day if you had an item woth 400+mill and you had the option to lock it form being salvaged or vendored. I think 99% of people would use that option if it was available, no matter how confident you were at salvaging or vendoring the right itmes.
Stats are as followed.
Sacred Shield
Block 24%
ST 120
VIT 155
critchance, 10%
Physical 48%
All Resist 76%
Damage reduction from melee Attacks, 6%
and a good amount of Dex

I'd also like a "favorite" marker for items (Borderlands 2 has one you can either mark the items as "favorite" or "trash"). Good idea.
Sorry about your item pretty decent shield indeed..
