After dying on several occasions (I spent a little over 100,000 gold in repairs), we managed to down the pair.
Only to realize that our NV stacks had expired.
It was a great run, too. Barb tanks and distracts, monk semi-tanks and dishes out DPS, I just focus on DPS. Finding a way to resurrect each other at critical times proved to be a fun challenge as well.
Not sure how long the process took, but it was probably close to an hour (including retries). Both Maghda and Leoric had close to 300 million HP. Word of advice: check your NV buff timer...
That's rough. I always thought the requirement for having a 5 stack seemed clunky. I can see the reasoning for getting the keys but it makes no sense for being required for the ubers. Sorry for the bad luck.
I guess the more accurate description would be "monk semi-tanks, gets two shot and waits for ress"
It was great fun though. Would do it again any time, though I should find a few more EHP first. At the time we made our "heroic last attempt", getting it done at all was more important than the stupid ring mat.
Fight wise, it's somewhat similar to progression raiding, you have to be concentrated at all times, otherwise you are very quickly face down. But there are some differences, things are a bit more random, and you don't have those periods of time where you just stand and fire. It's more like a mixture of raid boss and 3v3 arena. Often Leoric would port on top of you when you tried to ress for example, so you had to back off.
Today's gear just isn't good enough for MP10. You need statistical perfection for it to be close to worth it. I recommend sticking with MP8/9 for the time being until the new gear rules start to really inflate the supply.
If you don't mind sharing, what specs was everyone using? I'll probably be doing coop runs with a barb tank friend of mine for the uber bosses and am really undecided about a spec. Right now all that comes to mind is a hydra arcane orb spec.

Barb was using the standard WW/Sprint spec. As for the monk, you'll have to ask thundersteele who posted above; he was the monk I was running with.
Venom Hydra to maintain damage while running around, Diamond Skin and Fracture Teleport to save myself. Force Armor is mandatory given Maghda 1-shots me with her flies attack if I use Prismatic. Ancient Guardian actually works very well with Force Armor now that the HP threshold has increased. Forked Lightning as a signature spell to work with Critical Mass.
Blur for the spawned mobs, Critical Mass to bring DS and Fractureport off cooldown, Galvanizing Ward to add to regen.
The strategy is to spam Teleport and Diamond Skin while using Venom Hydra to do most of the damage. I run life steal (and so do my teammates) so we usually keep the spawned mobs around as a healing source (no health globes). That's where Electrocute comes in.
If a teammate dies, I tried to save Fractureport's illusions as a diversion while I go about the resurrection process. Thundersteele can attest to this ;]
Basically run the same strategy from beginning to end. We should've been able to clear in less than 30 minutes, it's just that we didn't get a good pattern/routine going until our final try.

Going to sleep. Got work in seven hours.

I'm sure if you notice nv stacks getting low though, can you go get another one and then go back in for a retry?
I'm only doing mp3 act 1, and man is this fun lol.
It really is a crazy raid battle... That's exactly what it is...
Amen, it was a ton of fun still.

I think the NV timer should be paused when we are entering any Realm to fight Uber Bosses. What do you think? Down sides?
