Confirmed. In 1.0.5, rings and amulets can roll level 63 affixes.
So it doesn't look like there are any bugs associated with jewelry rolling high crit damage, MF, etc. Seems like these rolls are fully intended.
That does it. Hold off on upgrading your rings and amulets until after the patch hits. That, or sell your current ones for the current inflated prices.
What about all non-weapon class specific items also limited to 62 right now, Can they roll ilvl 63 stats ?
I don't see why they wouldn't also. Hurray for wiz helms having a chance at 6% crit! Hmm, I wonder what that means for the APonCrit stat, does it go above 10 at 63 ilvl?
That's dumb. They just made legendary rings last patch (Stone of Jordan, Skull Grasp) that can have 6% crit chance for one specific skill, which was nice while max was 4.5%. Now they allow any rings to roll 6% crit chance? I guess they are just too lazy to fix that.
How do you know they didn't?

if you look through the blue posts you'll see lylirra saying that legendaries in 1.05 will still roll their respective ilvl.
but blizzard MIGHT reconsider, but only maybe.

Wise Elder100% crit damage amulet will blow my mind away. I believe I saw one with 89% crit damage somewhere, so it is very possible...
