Hi guys, I'm leveling right now a WD, I'm paragon 3, no AH'ed gear (and I'd like to keep it that way) and struggling in Act 2 a little bit.
I think WD is a good example of a class that doesn't depend on gear too much, since the pets are boosted, they can call the atention of most mobs, and thats great for me.
Anyway, I dont have all classes 60, so, I was wondering, what is the current class that can survive/kill quick without AH'ed gear?

Honestly it's a toss up between WD and Barb, and mostly depends on what gear you find first. A Barb with str, vit and resists can finish the game, and Witch Doctor is basically the same deal now but with int, vit and resists. Though the builds that will work for you (in a reasonable amount of play-time) are limited to defense oriented builds. The nice thing is if you keep a set of dps gear or even just spec into a dps build for a while you can run lower acts quickly if you get bored of progression.
However with either one, don't expect it to be fast. When they said inferno would take months of playing to clear, they were thinking about people that mostly find their gear. Rather than buying it from the AH. It does indeed take "months". It can certainly be a more rewarding way to play though. Especially because a much larger percentage of the items that drop for you will be upgrades.

I think this is pretty close to the answer you were searching for.
Monks are very gear dependant imo, one of the most gear dependant classes paired with Wizard (non CM ones, although I'm not sure how those are doing using Storm Chaser instead of Wicked Wind).
Maybe a DH if you're really lucky with +discipline drops and very very good with your execution skills (only using SS when absolutely necessary), and manage to get some decent dps (50-80k).
I know you're not an AH user, but you might wanna get at least a Grin Reaper unique Voodoo Mask for your WD
It's really cheap, and it's awesome for WDs (and tbh, you would be kind of gimping yourself as it isn't the most powerful helm available there, not even close to decent in terms of stats).
Dispells Jailer effects (great for repositioning and letting pets take dmg), creates more "pets" to do some tanking, and if you're using Grasp of the Dead, the "mimics" cast it all over the place and the slow works overall a really fun item to have as a pet WD.
WD was fifth character I leveled to 60. He was the first I got to Act 3 using only cheap vit, int, life regen, damage reflect gear. My wizard was my first character, is pimped out with +life on hit, +AP on crit, tons of crit, +crit damage, can't complete Act 2.
Barbs are expensive as hell to get REALLY geared, but it's amazing how many cheap weapons there are with tons of +life on hit and either a socket or crit damage. If you just get over 30-35% crit you can progress, no matter your DPS.

And, yes, the game is more enjoyable without using the AH.
