Legendary information released! plus Bashiok is a Troll <3

How funny would it be if the new Legendaries only dropped in Act 4.

Fingers crossed that what we will see wont be disapointing...

Hopefully he didn't mean this http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/6939568/Diablo%C2%AE_III_FREE_Starter_Edition_Now_Available-8_14_2012 (sure it's not "night" yet, but they could have released it a tad too early :P)

If we are discussing tweets, I was more excited by the announcement of another GW2 stress test tomorrow.

But yeah, more information on Diablo changes please....

at this point my friends have already quit playing... so legendary in a d3 way might just be a little bit too little and too late :/

I really wish you drama queens would stop treating the short-comings of this game like the holocaust.

We really don't care who has already quit or who is planning to quit. We are here to discuss the game we're still playing because we like it despite the various flaws (most of which, imo, have been or are being addressed). Your friends can come back if they want. It's not like they have to re-subscribe.

Please, please stop shitting up every single thread in this forum with some passive aggressive swipe at blizzard.

And you could get rid of that annoying signature you have. People have opinions, they vent them. The game is just continuous to be a huge disappointment for lots of people (inc myself), even though in itself it's not a bad game. My whole friends list is just empty as well (or they have gone back to wow) - a tell tale signature of the lack in longevity of the game.

    Bashiok deleted that tweet.

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN!??!!?
  • #30
Bash is actually talking about watching the movie "midsummer night's dream" it was a legendary movie, his next tweet should say something about how he misspoke and never meant to troll u guys.

Btw Blizzard scheduling for 4th week of August? are they tryna make me choose between a way-too-late diablo patch and guild wars 2? If so... they lose.
Blizzard used to care about releasing Diablo III, then they all took an arrow in the knee...

Well, patch comes out in 10-14 days, there will be 6 blogs/information updates + patch notes before release, something should appear soon :)

meh....GW is an entirely different genre. Though there will undoubtedly be some competition, I would think Blizz's plan would be to sate the core fans.

The patch isn't "way too late" ....it's just part of the progression, the evolution this game must go through to be what we all know it can be.

Trust me, I assure all of you, Arenanet will be going through the same "OMG WTF FAIL" garble as did Blizz. I was there when GW released in 05....the game was.......poor.

As all large scale PC game endeavors do, it went through a progression of post-release development and became quite good. Well, at least the PvE was great. The PvP.....not so much.

All that being said, it would make good sense for Blizz to capture the attention of many of the players that are on the fringe before they become to ingrained into GW2. I'm not sure why it has to be painted as some nefarious capitalist plot to steal peoples money or what the hell the notion is that many are trying to pass.

At least Blizz cares and are obviously trying hard to communicate with their player base to mold D3 into a better experience for core fans of the franchise.

I wonder how much they do believe these changes are what players want, they seem to be very unsure and want to send us teasers to check our reaction, I like what I've read so far, but this cat a mouse game is getting old real quick.

Why do people accuse the Devs of trolling every time they make a joke? I feel like there's a self-righteous, entitled group of people on the forums determined to strip life of any shred of humour or fun so everyone's existence is as bleak and hollow as theirs.

Maybe he just meant that he felt like a Legendary item would drop for him today, since the weather was so nice and it was a good day.
i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame. Zhaph#1849

Thats alot all based on my one liner. Let me re-phrase: I think GW2 has enough innovative features and a large enough world (true pvp and end-game) to be worth more of my time at release than diablo 3 will with the addition of patch 1.0.4. Unless patch 1.0.4 has some seriously game changing mechanics

not bashing diablo 3, Im just saying GW2 is looking like game of the year material
Blizzard used to care about releasing Diablo III, then they all took an arrow in the knee...
