Indeed it's very much Bashiok. The man lives for snark and random humor, which might be why I like him... but that being the case then this very well could be something. It could also very well be nothing. I just so happen to be in optimist mode especially since they have a TON of information to give us over the next two weeks. *fingers crossed*

at this point my friends have already quit playing... so legendary in a d3 way might just be a little bit too little and too late :/

Haha, knowing Bash, this could very well be true as well. It just stood out to me since he's been somewhat quiet over Twitter lately. I'm almost inclined to believe the context has nothing to do with Diablo 3...

But then I think about how Legendary items was the 2nd bullet point on the future announcements post (and thus most likely to be the next blog post). and I think to myself: Bashiok is a mastermind who knows we're going to second guess anything he says... Total Magnificent Bastard.

I really wish you drama queens would stop treating the short-comings of this game like the holocaust.

We really don't care who has already quit or who is planning to quit. We are here to discuss the game we're still playing because we like it despite the various flaws (most of which, imo, have been or are being addressed). Your friends can come back if they want. It's not like they have to re-subscribe.

How funny would it be if the new Legendaries only dropped in Act 4.
