I'm not sure how this site functions daily with blue posts being really scarce. Every other day we have the "booster pack" giveway usually tagged with someones daily version of a calculator. I understand this is not Curses' problem because there is nothing worth talking about. I check this site everyday, well.. I used to but now its more of a once a week thing because I'll atleast get one day of worthy front page news.
Diablo III, 184.108.40.2066 (death of the game). Making elite/champion packs not reset their health. Someone should seriously be injured for that change. People wanted the game to be difficult, now Blizzard is making it a lot lot lot easier than it already was. Don't forget about giving more items per pack also. Now you can enjoy doing the same routine over and over, but now you get a lot more junk items to vendor or salvage. More trips to the town fellas! Keep that Act III farming going strong.
Diablo III is a ship that has more holes than plugs. It started off very strong, so we know marketing did their job. Maybe its because I'm older. I played the crap out of Diablo 1, Diablo 2 but looking back I just don't know how I did it.

I often wonder about this. A lot of players complaining about D3 don't like the fact that once they kill Inferno Diablo all there is to do is indefinitely grind more items they don't need or roll an alt and grind through to Inferno again. But that's all there ever was to do in any Diablo game. In D2 it was the same only there was no Inferno and Hell was a pushover... man imagine the QQ if D3 had been as easy as D2... no farming required ever...
D3 is exactly how I remember D2, I suspect that if those people who find they can't play D3 but played heaps of D2 actually went back and tried to play D2 again they'd find it's them that's changed.
P.S. Don't create polls with BS options just to be a jackass. Also, you don't deserve a refund for not liking something.
Where's the "I strongly disagree" option? I don't understand how you expect there to be front page news every day. It's a game. You're supposed to play it not read about it on the internet. If you played from launch till now, you got your moneys worth a few times over. Plus remember that this game still has at least 10 years ahead of it. Take a break, and come back when it's fixed. Bye for now.
I am in my early 40's, I played alot of Diablo on my playstation, Diablo 2 and LOD on the PC, and now alot of Diablo 3.
I remember many glitches and issues with Diablo 1. I remember alot of problems with Diablo 2 and LOD in the periods after the launches, and I remember alot of patching and tweaking to make them the game that lasted as long as it did, even then, they kept changing and adding things into the game for many years after the intial releases.
Diablo 3 is by far the most polished of them all, it has issues, and by all I have read, many of those issues are going to be addressed to some level in 1.0.4, and then PVP and other things to be added along with more changes in 1.1, even then there will be more issues found, and I am sure there will be many more fixes and changes down the road.
Diablo III, 220.127.116.116 (death of the game). Making elite/champion packs not reset their health.
This healing of elite enemies created a skewed dynamic from group play to solo play. There should never exist such a disparity in enemy mechanics from solo to group play. That is why they're fixing it....not to make it easier....because it is a broken mechanic.
In group play, people can time their re-spawns to keep packs from healing. In solo, this cannot be managed.
This doesn't make the game in any way explicitly easier. It smooths a currently rough dynamic.
Maybe its because I'm older.
I'm 40. I doubt that is the reason you're struggling with it.
You, like many many others, had unrealistically sky-high expectations of instant gratification as soon as you pressed 'play'. You, along with many many others, thought that you would be whisked away to a time gone by.
I assure you, if you think about it objectively, the best times you had playing D2 was long after it had released. Long after the rather limp beta-esque launch......probably after the ex-pac......amiright?
It's not just 'kids these days' and that tired line about the new generation and their impatience, sense of entitlement....etc..
From 6 to 60, people are increasingly demanding.
Blizzard very wisely laid D3 out just as Blizzard North did with D2. They developed an infrastructure of point A, with the idea in mind to reach point B.
And so with D3, we are at point A and freaking out because we demand point B NOW!!! "Why didn't they just start with D2's point B"?
Had they done this, it would have been met with the same disdain and arrogant trolling we've seen here. Comparisons would've been made. Accusations of biting off of Blizzard North would've sent a prevailing sense of disappointment....and behold, still, there would be a very vocal contingent of "FAIL".
Patience. Breath. Let the effervescence disperse from the newly opened bottle. Don't play too much, or at all, if you are that bothered. Wait for the change to mold this extremely high potential lump of clay called D3.
Diablo titles aren't like most other games. They are meant to be played for many many years without constant subscription type updates. It takes time to build the creature we all desire.
Oh joy! Another troll-thread complaining about how Blizzard isn't listening to The Right People.
The internet definitely needs more of those.
I don't want them to listen to me. I have no suggestions. I will allow you to retract your statement. Not exactly a troll thread.
I retract my statement. It was made on the assumption that you were suggesting that the health-reset change should be reverted.
I'm not sure how I leapt to such a tenuous conclusion... except for the bit where you wished physical harm on the person who made it. I guess a more reasonable person would have seen that as a sign of violent indifference or something.
People are still playing D1 and D2, so please explain how you think D3 is dead? people are still playing EQ, maybe you mean its dead to you, in that case was nice knowing you, don't let the door hit you in your way out
