Sooooooo .... We previously saw that SK on Inferno had 15million HP. Maybe the guide is a little off but I'm sure it will be pretty close. Then I just read the blue post about enrage timers that said " If you dont kill SK in 4 minutes he will start summoning 3 times as many skeletons. That is crazy. So IF you were able to constantly deal damage to SK for a whole 4 minutes it would take 62,500 DPS to kill him but you wont, you will be running around dodging attacks, killing skeletons. I am lost. Am I missing something. Am I thinking wrong or is our DPS really going to go up into the 60-100,000 range. That seems retardedly high. I don't think he will have 15 million HP .. he can't.
They weren't really enrage timers either, more of an anti-cheese timer. If it was an enrage time the boss would quadruple in size, run the length of the screen in a half second, and one shot you.
All I took from Bashiok's quote is that if you party, and your ally is weaksauce, things will be harder due to the timer. Its not an instant wipe, but it'll get harder.

Thats just one number, we dont know any of the other end numbers so you just have to wait and see. I think you can depend on that that its very possible to solo inferno considering that they have said numerous times that it is.
I never said anything about soloing. I'm just talking the amount of health he had and the amount of DPS needed to do kill him in a resonable time frame. 15 million health is a lot of health for a diablo game. Either the guide is fake or we'll be doing 75,000 dps in inferno.
IF enrage time is 4min, AND SK hp is 15m, then DPS required must be 62,500. With leeway for inefficiency, about 60,000. Players will be able to do that and more.
Remember this requires both enrage time to be 4min and SK hp to be 15min. None of this is current true

You didn't read Bashiok right, he said he made up that to do an example how enrage timers work.
Enrages won't be a you lose scenario, but eventually making the fight harder and harder, so you can't cheese the crap outta them.
Ya you are right. But still, 15million HP? A boss can't have that much hp unless we our weapons are like 30,000dmg or something. Something just doesnt seem right. I'm feeling that "guide" posted was Photoshopped or something and is fake.

A number is a number, who cares how many 0's are at the end? As long as the amount you do keeps going up, what does it matter?
Look at Diablo 2, in Hell most viable builds would be doing a couple thousand damage with their skills. If you project that scalability into an imaginary D2 Inferno difficulty they would easily be doing 10's of thousands of damage. It looks like it will scale slightly higher in D3, but what's the difference?
I think we will be doing damage into the high thousands if not in the 100k+ damage range in Infernal. Also I think we will have a lot more life as well in Infernal. We just need to wait for more information.
You are thinking too much about how it was in D2. Need to think in D3 terms now.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
If you watch the Barb video (with that cool monster) he is geared up in about 48-50 gear and has a DPS of about 1500. That means that with basic 'quake he will do 3,000,000 damage and best bash will do ~2,700 damage (stacked punish) before Armor/DR. Just some perspective.

If that made sense to you, Bravo! I think I even confused myself...

Two small things:
As fun as 3 million damage would be, 2000% weapon damage means you multiply weapon damage by 20, not 2000 ;-)
Also you're multiplying weapon damage, not the "DPS" number. Weapon damage could be higher than 1500 if he's using a 2 handed mace (the slowest weapon in the game, they do .9 attacks/second), but if it is something faster you'll be dividing that 1500 amount by 1.1 or 1.2 or something.
