i really hope its going to be hard, and i expect people to get 1 shot, and it will be awsome i will go on the forum and feed from thoose tears! Alot of people expected to be abble to smash inferno no prob, im really happy its not the case!
As long as Inferno is not easy I'm happy - I want to struggle to get passed the first act and I want to feel like it's Hell to get passed number two and when I finish it I want to feel like a won the lottery.
Dear Inferno: HURT ME MORE! MAKE ME BLEED, PLEAD, CRY, DIE, REZ, COME BACK FOR MORE!
MAKE ME ASK THE DEVIL FOR DEALS! To make a long story short...... bend me over make me your B***h and then kiss me when its over and ask me to do it better
Yes.... and then you are going to reply in big letters and contribute nothing useful....
but anyway... I just hope they keep it real difficult.... its meant to last a long time and be part of the end game if they nerf it because of peoples momentary struggles it will be disapointing... realistically the way i see the dramatic increase in damage is that we are probably meant to farm gear and develop our characters more at the end of hell difficulty before even entering into inferno....
Why are you even talking about nerfs when you know very well that they made it hard on purpose and that's the way it's going to be. Stop comparing to WoW which needed to be nerfed more or less because people didn't have 12 hours a day to raid and 12 more to do one battleground, D3 is a totally different story
I'm suprised blizzard doesn't have a higher programmer turn-over rate, with the amount of whining people do over their games... But they still buy them right?
Part of the job for the CMs like Bash is to act as a conduit of feedback between developers and the players. I imagine that alot of the core developers like programmers and artists personally stay away from the forums and get their feedback in filtered mode via the CMs.
I certainly would. As a developer that is letting the community have an insight into how you make games, the official forums would be soul crushing.
They don't know how much armor will decrease damages.
When I saw the numbers, and saw people freak out, these exact statements went through my mind.
What makes people especially stupid is the first point. Has anyone actually seen health totals at level 60? And then armor also decreases a large sum of damage, which works in conjunction with resistances and also dodge. Blizzard did say we will definitely need dodge and since people moaned that each class will only have one attribute, I think this proved a real eyeopener. When that much damage comes your way, you'll definitely want a decent amount of dodge to at least mitigate some damage. Armor won't be everything, you need to play smart.
As for how difficult it will be, I'm hoping they push it, if people have cleared Inferno in droves before Christmas, then I'll be sort of disappointed.
Maybe we will need to have rank 14 gems in all the gear sockets
Now thats a grind.
not really flawless gems used to drop really often in D2 hell difficulty
i think i heard somewhere the highest tier gem that drops is actually rank 5, i believe it was from the devs themselves so yeah it will be a grind, they said getting ranks of gems up will be a week long duty ^^
