So just found out my laptop that is only like two-three years old, cannot run the D3 Beta. Meaning I cant ever get the game anyways, and im too broke to ever buy a new laptop. Originally I was going to ask for more info on posisble system releases like PS3, so I could have an idea of how long id have to not buy and not play on the PC to get it for PS3. Now I need to know how long so I know how long I dont get to play D3 period, untill I can hopefully get it on Playstation.
And before you tell me, if your broke you shouldnt have $60+ to spend on a game anyways, I will retort to you that I have bestbuy giftcards from christmas that have to be spent anyways. Awwww yeah.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
So spend those gift cards on a mid level gaming system or laptop.
It's not even guaranteed to be released on consoles. They said they are looking into it. Even if it DOES happen, it could be a long time off. We are talking a year or two.
I wouldnt even be surprised if Blizzard dropped the ps3/X360 version and used the game to get a contract with Microsoft and Sony to develop it for PS4 and X720 in 2013/2014.
Man, that's rough. But I'm pretty sure that you could get a PC capable of playing D3 for about 300$ if you looked in the right place (Fry's Electronics). Just sell some shit, or better yet, get a job. Shit, sell your PS3! PC Gaming > console gaming anyway.

Console release will not be for at least a year, and most likely 2 years. Sorry to say but you're going to have to either upgrade the laptop or get something new (personally I suggest a PC). What specs are your laptop? You might be able to upgrade whatever hardware is holding you back.
Just my opinion but I think a console version will come out with the first expansion at the earliest. Given about 1.5 year release schedule for the expansion.
I suggest saving as much as you can and find someone who can build a comp. you can buy the parts for a decent rig for ~600-800$ if you have some to build it for you.
Otherwise, that sucks.

Now you console players know how we feel about Fable 2, Gears of War 2/3, Halo 3, Dark Souls
But seriously, they had the game "almost ready" last year, and delayed it for another year. Without even a confirmation that a console team is at "full throtle" in development speed, I don't think it will come earlier than 1 year, 1 year and a half.

Going next-gen would be a bit overkill for D3, I think. PS3 and Xbox360 should be able to run the game just fine.
My guess is we will hear more about the console version (as in a release date) within 12 months, though I fear that might a tad optimistic.
I didn't say that in regards to the power of the consoles, what I,m saying is that it may be an argument of sale by Microsoft or Sony to have D3 on their new platform. And since the game wiont be on console for like 1-2 years its really quite possible imo.

If it is promoted as one of the first games out there for the next generation of consoles I can totally see it. But honestly it can run just fine with current generation consoles. Money now is better than money later for them companies I figure. ^^

AFAIK Blizz won't be releasing counseling services for our gaming addictions.
I came here to say something like this.
As far as console goes though, there is absolutely no news regarding a release, or even development. All I know is that they had someone who was heading up looking into doing a conversion to consoles.
-A console version SOMEpoint after d3-
-They can not start it until d3 is released on pc-
-They were helping pc team-
-It may not even BE diablo 3, it could just be a "diablo game"-
-It could be on a new generation , they don't know-
And I liked the Wii idea so much! Even if it were a prank!

Since it hasn't been officially announced i doubt you will see it before the second half of next year.

Ha. Bagstone.
Yeah but it wont be released now hence my point.

Don't get impatient, is all I can say.
