[TLDR: QQ post, If you'd rather spend time arguing about skill ui, trees, RMAH or talk about release date plans, random player demographics etc then this is the time to press backspace and save your time]
so I saw the post about the open beta weekend which I was really excited about until I read
Can all regions/countries participate? Due to regional differences and features of the stress test client, Korean players will not be able to partake in the stress test weekend.
DAM IT!
first I had Blizz KR hinting that they're going to do everything in their power to stop Korean players from playing Diablo3 in any language besides Korean after release and now this.
I really appreciate how they're putting up alot of work for localization since more players = more win because the number of players is basically the lifeblood of a online based game. But that doesn't mean that they should shove it down the throats of those who would prefer playing the 'original' English version.
Sheesh, I mean why is it so damn hard to play a game made in the U.S. in English?
Korean players get their own beta a few days later as far as I am aware. Problem?
Yeah and I got in but the problem is the fact that I'm being blocked in any kind of attempt to play the game in english [the KR client provides only Korean]
I honestly have no idea about the language options though, it surprises me that you cannot choose language freely.
I'm pretty stumped about it myself. The only possible reason I can think of for them doing this is that the damn Rating Board requires separate ratings for different languages, meaning they'd have to go through the whole process and pay another round of rating fees
Not sure about the beta language options, but I think in the release version of the game you'll be able to choose the language of your client through your battle.net account. Especially since it's not region locked.

for us yes, but there are one are two regions that can't

Well they do only mention Korea when they talk about restricted countries so I suppose it's Korean only
The Korean client supports ONLY Korean.Which is ironic considering the fact that the NA client will support Korean.
