We're going to be doing a live gameplay broadcast on our DiabloFans stream for launch day, May 15th! Leading up to that, we're going to get some beta gameplay in as well and of course the diabofans-pre-launch-day-party-stream-of-awesomeness. The broadcast will be on twitch.tv and we welcome anyone to join the channel chat and ask our staff questions about the game or live gameplay. We're also going to let you guys vote on which characters you want to see get played in our stream later on.
First though, we wanted to see how you guys felt about something like this, so we're going to setup a pilot stream tomorrow (4/18). Again, anyone is welcome to join chat and fire off questions. If everything goes smooth, you can expect more streams from us in the future!
I wonder how many people are going to actually watch the stream instead of playing themselves Fun idea non the less though !
Though I hope im wrong, theres a good chance that the starter edition is a bug
With such a statement...I would like you to elaborate.

Cool idea and appreciated, love twitch I I watch a few streamers there reguraly.
but yeah .. I cant imagine how in the world you'll get any views .. everyone will be playing. If you had access say a few days early, then it would explode. But as such, I personally wouldnt even bother.
Seems very interesting and fun, and i would definitely watch if it was before or far after the launch day.
Never really understood why people want to stream on my 15'th knowing that everyone will be playing finally rather than watching another
Yeah we thought about that, but there are still going to be people who either 1) orderd by mail and wont have it at release night, or 2) with the info we are getting this week, if we found out that servers go out by region, some might be playing before others?
few other reasons why people wont be playing at release that might want to
It's a cool idea, and also just kind of exciting - it makes the game feel like a live event. It is also a way of including anyone who is maybe waiting for the game to be delivered, which is nice.
