I put Annotations into the video to help clarify things
My Routine for finding Champions/Blue Items:
Using the waypoint you see me take in the video, I search the immediately surrounding area for a champion, they seem to spawn in there quite often. From there I then walk south through the gate heading back towards the northern side of town. I search every bit of the area finding and killing all monsters and clearing out The Den of The Fallen if it happens to appear during that game (I'd give it about a 1/3 chance) which %99 of the time has a champion and a resplendent chest which can drop a ton of magic items and gold. After I complete all of that I use the town portal to return to town and (If I'm not max level) go to kill the skeleton king. Combined that usually brings me one full inventory, or more, of blue items which I then salvage or can sell on the Auction House.
Shouldnt expect to many comments to stuff that is already shown in alot of other movies. Especially when its just a bit of general gameplay. Nothing new or interesting really :x !
Yeah, theres nothing you can do that hasnt been done already unless its along the lines of a glitch. But still, some general feedback is better then none. Even if its to do with video quality, tips, what i should/shouldn't have done or what changes should be made.
It's not easy to get feedback, honestly. I ask all the time to remind people that I do read comments so they don't feel I'll ignore it. The truth is, a lot of people will not leave feedback if they like something or are content. Feedback usually comes when a user is put off or unhappy with something. This is kind of the same effect you'll see on Blizzard's official forums, a lot of posts are negative because the people who are happy with the games are just playing and enjoying it without leaving a comment. Another thing that can happen is sometimes people will post in YouTube rather than the forums (I tend to get that the most) which means you just have to follow the rules for channel advertising if you want to keep a thread in the public view.
Since I can't see your video while I'm at work, all I can say is that you didn't really ask for comments or feedback when you posted the video (you may have asked in the video but I did not see it). But even doing that doesn't guarantee someone is going to post. The good news is, you didn't get any negative posts so far.
I'm sorry I cannot comment on the video. If I remember to look at the forums when I get home, maybe I can provide one later.

Hi KageKaze. I would actually like you to create some video for newest beta where you show how to play DH. So basically to do that in beta you would have to use some simple two xbows of very low level and no armor. Then try to gather many mobs at once wherever you go and try to stay alive and kill those mobs without running to far from one place, so basically when you gather some sensible amount of mobs stay in one screen area and show us some good skillful DH play. What I'm trying to achieve here is to see what DH can do in tough situations and get some adrenaline rolling for all of us. So more mobs you gather at once the better. Make sure it gets tough enough for your health to go below 25% almost every time you fight mobs. Cut those moments where after you die you have to go back to place where is your body but don't cat moments when you die. It will require some cut and paste and it will make watching of the video exciting and that is what would make it popular. Btw, while on it you should comment before and after a fight and make a game sound louder while you fight mobs as usually I can't hear much more but your comment in your game throughs. Same goes for OP here. You guys do that and all will appreciate it for sure.

Not to hijack a thread, but I will have to see what I can do on this front. I need to get to the DH done at least once with skill analysis. There are a lot of mobs in the world now so it shouldn't be hard to get some interesting footage with a DH.
If you could, Rozmata, would you comment in the topic "Diablo 3 1080p Patch 14 videos - character analysis from Kagekaze's Domain" and let me know if you still have problems hearing the action in my later videos? Specifically the new Barbarian ones (and possibly my patch 13 wizard) as that's the volume level I'm thinking of sticking with.
I just don't want to veer this thread off topic. Thanks
I like the way you cut it, it's only relevant footage, not you looking for champions for 10 minutes and THEN farming it. And the actual fading between scenes is very nice and simple too. I like it. Nothing new content wise, but a lot better then several other vids out there.
I do prefer commentary myself though. (:
I wanted to do commentary but I dont have a way of recording my voice at the moment /:
I am confused, whats the point of the video? I thought you was going to show a place where bosses seemed to spawn quite often.
There's no spesific place champions spawn a lot besides where i was through out %90 of the video. It's one zone witch usually has a few champions each time then the cave footage was inside The Den of The Fallen, located randomly in the zone I was mostly in.
I enjoyed the Paladin's commentary. His lines are epic. Not really sure what the point of the video is, though.
The point of the video was killing champions to gather a lot of blue items for salvaging materials. Which i showed at the end how many i ended up with, which was 66. I now have 120 gathered in my stash.

this
It does show you lol. Thats one waypoint in one area of the game. Theres a few cave clips where im in the Den of the Fallen which is like the Den of Evil from diablo 2 but sometimes its there and some times its not. Then at the end it shows me fighting a mini boss then the skeleton king. %90 of this is from just out side the gate at the north side of the town using the waypoint It shows me clicking on.
EDIT: To start this was already answered. But I decided to respond again.
Nowhere in the beta (Besides story line monsters) Is there a guaranteed spawn of a champion or boss.
so if that's what your looking for, it's not possible.
well from my little experience in the beta i felt the most often and amount of champions mobs in the beta r in the defiled crypts in any of the 3 - plus i think only once i didn't get 1 of the events in any of the crypts.
tho thats just my feeling/opinion mayB u should try it out and see if u get more or less champions :).
In the beta, if your #1 goal is to farm elites, you just want the cemetary WP (where the 3 random crypts spawn). Farm each of those (maybe get a champ pack outside). Go back to tristram. Leave game and re-enter. Do it again. Those 3 crypts are the most prolific spot. The rares in there are predictable. Plus, one of the crypts will always have a resplendant chest, up to 5 blues right there.
If you're really jones'ing for rares, after done there, go back to south and see if you get a den of the dying or whatever. Usually 3-4 elite packs in there too.

In my experience I have come across at least 2-3 champion groups in the weeping hollows and it takes about the same time to clear as one of the crypts which have yielded less (unless you manage to get lucky with the chest) if the den of the fallen isn't there during that game. If it is, then (IMO) it's a much better choice plus there's more then likely an extra champion around the cemetery WP.
I had about 40-45 hours into patch 14 doing just about every way I could come across or think of and this seemed to be the most consistent.
im not sure if its a champ, but that mob that breaks some door on the way to getting the crown. If you get past it, you reach a check point, you leave game, then resume, the door will be "behind" you, got through it and the big will spawn again. I saw a video of someone farming this way, not my style but just throwing it out there

Sounds to good to be true, that'd be a really easy way of acquiring blues. It probably won't be in the release version of the game and once the servers go back up I'll try it but it could be getting changed in patch 15.
