Yep, cant log in, getting error 24001. Looks like they had enough of people killing their retail monsters

I got to try for about 30 mins or so with my witch doctor. Im happy with that if they are fixing it now.

=( I was just about to log and play. Oh well.

At least i cleared twice new wp zones... Kinda nice BTW for the waller and jailler haha

servers back up, all the WPS are gone, on all my characters

i played them on my monk for about 45 minutes and it was awesome i loved it and i saw a new elite mob with a vortex mod

I just logged in fine? Didn't try to play, just wanted to see if I could log on lol.

I managed to get a good 4 full runs with the random events and the Defiled Crypt lvl 1-2. Can't wait for retail. Was getting bored in The Cathedral after 50+ runs. Great to see some wide open spaces and some groups of mobs, where you actually have to use all your skills together to down them.

Thrilled!

*sigh* I only got to play the new areas for 15 mins. Hopefully someone finds another way to get the WPs again...

Did they let that issue out to create release hype? Who knows.

What I dont understand is why they were even there in the first place.

Maybe they were unsure of how big they wanted the beta when it was first made. /shrug

It was fun while it lasted.

The new areas seemed really awesome. Glad we were able to get a glimpse of a bit more content, whether intended or not. Can't wait to get my hands on the game and explore these areas for myself.

On top of the obvious increased difficulty, I really liked that both zones were quite large and open, giving plenty of chances to explore and kill some mobs. =)
