So, my friends and I are thinking about how to work together to farm items in D3. A lot of them come out of the WoW scene and have pretty intense guild operations already rolling.
I proposed to them a few different ideas, mostly surrounding scheduled guild farming runs through Inferno, with high MF, ranged characters that buff party members (barb shouts, monk auras, etc.), and possible profit-sharing methods like dues that would be used to benefit the guild (send delegates to Blizzcons, suit up our friends/new guildies from the RMAH, run a guild website, etc).
What are people thinking as far as guilds functioning with the RMAH in play? What are your ideas for your guild? I think it's really interesting to have the RMAH for the first time in an MMO.

Diablo fans deserve a downloadable version of the Blizzcon D3 demo.
Well there are many threads on the official forms about how you can make money off the RMAH and ways to cash it out amongst friends. I highly doubt people could retire and make D3 their income source (would like to see the results of someone giving it a go) but if you put plenty of time to farming in groups to make some $$$ then cash out (minus the amount blizz and or pay-pal sting ya) you could get some interesting results, depending on gear quality and the market for the gear.
Just ignore this post if I have missed the point of the OP.

Super Cop! He knows where you live, he knows where you sleep.
I still believe there will be more sellers than buyers. so unless you are getting the top end items the competition for selling will be high and you could possibly make a $3-$5 dollars per hour income. that been said its probably still higher than those captcha writing/survey filling bullshit. If you do get lucky and get a top end perfect item you could make some nice cash though.
I'd rather name it clans in d3, personal preference though.
Clan support would be nice in my opinion, we already missed those features in d2.
I'm speaking of:
- Invite players into your clan, tag them as clanmember with eg. initials
- Own chat channel
- Possibilty of creating clanwars vs other clans (e.g. 4v4 arena lms / best of 5)
- a lot more could be done ...
It's curious they didnt add this into the game already, for me this would be an obvious feature if I'd had played the foregoing title diablo 2 to some serious extent.
Possibly b.net 2.0 still sucks and doesnt offer those features right now?
----- edit -----
I like the idea of doing scheduled farm runs with my mates. Just would do it in terms of getting everyone geared out for inferno and arena than on making profit in rmah.
