I trust blizzard on this one that its gonna be hard xD. Especially on inferno o.o, what I think is that most people probably wont make it past act 1, but hey thats just what I think. Also I expect alot of grinding (not as much as d2 though).

Most People Are Completely Ignorant To The Microscopic World Around Them -Me
Here's a link to potential boss modifiers in Diablo 3. Extra Strong returns as Powerful, and Extra Fast returns as Fast. I don't see an equivalent to Cursed, but considering how unofficial and incomplete this list is, you'll likely find something similar. There's a lot of real nasty new ones too. Like Life-leech and Mirrored, which lets bosses create a duplicate of themselves just like Baal used to do.
As for the topic, I imagine Inferno will be much like playing Hell untwinked with a lot more time required to get to a point where you feel comfortable, and even beyond that, you'll likely never feel completely safe since you won't outlevel content. (This is a key point.) It's going to take a lot of real nice gear to get to ez-farm mode, though I hope that mode doesn't exist in Inferno.
Diablo 3 also has a lot more focus on defensive and situational abilities this time around, so I expect the game to force players to play intelligently in reacting to enemies behavior beyond just relying on gear or doing a lot of damage to get them through.
Only time will tell I'm affraid... I hope only 5% or less can complete inferno.
I would not count on that. That stands against blizz thinking of making games. I aspect it to be very hard at the beginning. Some will own inferno faster... others more slowly or with the help of big friend RMAH.
I honestly wouldn't be opposed to Inferno being so hard that most people curl up into the fetal position and start bawling after trying it for an hour. In fact, if I don't do this, I'll be very disappointed. Inferno sort of represents the counter-argument against all this "catering to casuals" people keep throwing around, and it better be a damn good argument.
From what the was said in the video, even with good gear, your still going to get 1-shot under the right conditions.
If those 'right conditions' are conditions outside of your own control, then Blizzard would have failed adjusting the balance though.
Running into a all resistance type boss or monster be more common and likely under a random stat generator. That wouldn't be a failure through balancing anything, especially at inferno difficulty.
I started replaying diablo 2 couple of days ago and i noticed how easy it was to play, i had NO trouble at all untill the boss of act 2, BOSS of ATC 2, its so annoying how we keep seeing people (not saying u) sayin how D3 is easy, dumbed down, whatever, these people clearly forgot how diablo 2 was never really that hard to play.
Now about inferno, what i hope is ;
- That even though i'll be able to solo it, it'll be much more worth going with friends cuz we can clear the monsters faster
- That as soon as we get lv60 and try inferno we get out @ss destroyed, i hope we have to grind some GG gear in Hell 1st to be able to beat inferno.
- That they make inferno worth coming back for, in terms of itens and fun, im sure the PVP is gonna make me keep farming for better gear, so thats something already.
probably as hard as wow raiding... but without the coordination needs.
So I guess it's gonna be pretty easy
But WoW raiding is sinch! (given you have a League of Extraordinary people!)
I hope Normal will be a breeze with a little increase of difficulty in the later acts, Nightmare will be a rising challenge. And Inferno will be soloable but not easily at all, in fact looking to others for help will never be in more demand!

Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
I have a feeling Blizzard is going to freak out that they will get called out for Inferno being too easy when D3 launches and make most of the monsters 1-2 shot you. Then eventually patch it to be playable.
