I love my pet classes; the feel of commanding others or just having a partner when no one else is around. Though the Monk class does look interesting with his martial arts moves and other abilities. Heck they all look interesting; but I'll focus on pet class to start and be curious of the others later on.
I just want my army that's all, and let everyone else step aside as we decimate the area.
I think my first class will be the witch doctor. Contrary to what seems to be the general consensus, I feel that the monk is my least favorite class. I played this class at a demo (granted, a long time ago) and was seriously underwhelmed. Witch doctor though? Awesome.

First one I am gonna try out is the male Monk. I love playing melee and I like fast chaining attack aspect of the monk. But if it dont play out for me with the Monk, I think its gonna be the Barb or Wizard. See, I cant figure out what to play. I really need a beta key
I am going with the Demon Hunter first because assassin-style characters always interested me and I prefer ranged characters to melee characters for survivability reasons. The evasion skills of the DH look awesome and I love the animations so far. I just want to try it live now, either in retail or in beta.

The only beta videos i watched were the first full playthrough videos for each class made by force gaming, I'm very uncertain which will be my first class, it will probably end up being barbarian or witch doctor though.
I keep going back and forth between starting with a monk or a demon hunter.
- I will think that I have it figured out but then I will watch a video or try a build out for the other class and then I start the whole process all over
I am actually quite intrigued by the uprise in support for the witch doctor. Several polls have been up here before with the Witch Doctor coming in last or next to last with Demon Hunter at the bottom. I personally like the Witch Doctor and will be one of my first two as well.
I doubt I will play straight through on one toon, but bounce between several depending on my mood. I am choosing the Witch Doctor as I feel with his pets his early leveling will be easier. And because I want to use him (pet free) in PvP. I still havent decided on the other toon though, toss up between the Monk and the Wizard.
Demon hunter, quickness and deadly. I think I'll be puting some high damage skills and entangling shot, so everyone can taste a huge damage maker, lets see
I am gonna go with a Barbarian from start til end. I've been playing Barbarian since LoD and I just love the character and it's abilities + the more fun with enigma I hope they will not change too much, but add more instead in D3!
I love the idea behind it, to be honest with you. Zipping around giving people multiple quick blows with either your bare hands or a bo staff of sorts. The female monk looks really good too (I've heard a lot of people don't like the way she looks but I personally do) It just looks like a blast!!
I do have to say though the wizard is a close second. Some of his spells look simply amazing!
On a side note, I just joined these forums, and I'm very pleased to have found this site. I couldn't post on the Battle.net D3 forums because I didn't have a WOW or SC2 character in game. So thank you for being open to everyone!!
I like the idea of making a Wizard first, but I think the Demon Hunter will overwhelm me at release. I really like the feel of darker classes and the anti-hero. The wizard is an upstart though and could easily be considered somewhat of a darker hero, willing to do whatever to be the best. I'm honestly torn. Looking at other people's decisions, it appears the Wizard might need some loving in that so many people want to make Demon Hunters.
im all for the monk. i like its fast hitting lighting combos and the versatily it has in groups with diferent buffs. it also has quite the repertoire of dmg reduction, and since blizz state there tons of builds viable up to inferno then im glad to be able to play with the abilities i enjoy watching the most

Ever since they announced the monk I have been really excited for this game. Back in the olden days I played a text-based MUD that had a monk class and thought it was so cool to beat things up using bare hands but still do the same damage as anyone with an actual weapon. I wish they did not make monks use a weapon but it makes sense as far as balancing the game I guess. Wizard looks pretty cool too. I like shiny spells and stuff.
I chose the Wizard because most of the time in RPGs I played as melee classes, and I never really played as a Sorcerer in Diablo 2. And the Wizard simply looks really cool to play with all those shiny animations and cool spells (I'm looking at you "Slow time").
But like everyone I'm looking forward to level-caping every class eventually (in softcore). The Demon Hunter will probably be the second class I'll play a lot with because of her/his varied abilities.
As I was watching forces video's of each class and I always wanted to play as a wizard but as the most recentlatches come out and tweek each toon I find my self love each and every class to the hard hitting body flying blows of the barb or to the fast hits of the monk... i really dont know at this point its easyer now to say who i dont like as much then who I do and out of them all i feel the witch doctor needs help in early game skills there just not as fun as the other classes and he DH needs more power but all in all from what iv watched I love what I see.

Secondly I like playing the underdog, and at the time demon hunter was the least popular class.
