It seems like when ever I host diablo 3 and go into the Nephalem Rift and yet other people close the Nephalem Rift after the rift guardian is died. Yet Nephalem Rift has more levels to kill enimies after you kill the rift guardian. Can blizard fix it so only the host can open and close Nephalem Rift instead of these noobs close the Nephalem Rifts.
Closing the rift is the smart thing to do. Lets you farm blood shards and GR tokens faster. Doing the extra floors after you kill the guardian is the same as starting a new rift, except with no more guardian to kill.
The only reason to stay after RG is dead is if you are in a sick elite desity open map and you killed RG on start of that map and jsut by going half more minute you can kill around 10 elite packs. Same goes if goblin packs are in the area, Otherwise its a waste of keys and bloodshards to continue the rift.

If you read Tolkien 9:4-7 it tells you that the Ents, although peaceful trees, have the power to rip entire boulders out of the ground. That's quite scary.
i remember a day where i used to do the same thing, but opening a rift then used to cost a rift key. so efficiency wise it was better to full clear. now though there is no reason whatsoever to stay in a rift after the guardian has died. you are wasting your time.
Tell people that you don't want to close after the rift guardian. They'll either leave, or if not, you leave and make a new game. As everyone said, it's absolutely not worth it to continue after the RG is dead, but if you want to do so, try to find a group for it.
If I'm in a public game and anyone tells me they wanna do full clears I just leave, instantly. Your choice, but I don't waste my time going on after the RG. I guess there's two kinds of people.
What you tell the group is that you are FULL CLEARING. You pretty much on FULL CLEAR if you are already super fast or cow level keeps spawning. You pretty much always full clear cow level because at least every time it spawns for me there's a high pool of reflection and high gob rate
Well to play devils advocate there are a few reasons its worth staying in, an open map is worth staying in until the Large Chest has been found, if youre close to the floors exit its always worth sticking your head in next level and checking to see if its an open map, and then theres the simple human error of it feeling good to stay in as RNG sometimes means more legendaries can drop after the rift guardian.
Personally i dont mind either type of rift but I do have a soft spot for those normals that have hot streaks where legendaries continually drop while playing and you can come out of a normal with half a bag full. That can feel so much better than a few dropping at then end of a greater.
But thats the beauty of Diablo it easily caters to different tastes and doesnt punish someone that chooses to play a different way.
