I switched from monk to barb this season because of that build either =)
I have done GR 77 if I remember and got top 500 at that time (like 2 weeks ago)
There is a problem with this build. I have ancient all over with 60+gems infused in gear and 70+ gems in jewelry.
T13 is NOT fast. My LTK monk can kill the RG in T13 with 1-3 kicks...
With this WW Barb the RG takes like 30 seconds to kill...
T13 farm is viable, but this build really shines in T11-T12 farm. ITS SO FAST that you won't care about T13.
You've wasted quite a few rerolls on unimportant stats. I know there's guide info that says Ancient Parthan Defender + % CC stuff is great, but if you look at the leaderboards, people mostly use Nemesis Bracers to spawn extra monsters for a faster progress.
As a result of those wasted rerolls you lack crit chance on multiple items (10 on amulet, 6 on helm and bracers) which lead to an abysmal damage output.
You completely lack area damage, fix that, it's an even higher priority than CDR (ideally your weapons should have both)
Lightning damage is wasted, you want physical because that's the damage type of your WW rune. Lacking that is quite detrimental. That Hellfire amulet is really bad, if you don't have one with decent stats, take a well rolled version of any other amulet, some legendary affixes are quite good, too (Eye of Etlich for example).
There's no point to Rend, take War Cry instead for a big toughness boost (30% dodge or 20% resist rune).
Diamonds are better than rubies for pushing higher rifts because survivability is more of an issue than damage.
Berserker Rage over Ruthless because you're always on max fury anyway.
The WW build for Barbarian needs a buff, And hopefully they will buff it in the next patch. I have played it on Xbox One, and i have all items near perfect stats, 750 main stat augmented, and it still doesn't do enough damage to do GR80. The WW build in itself isnt a big damage dealer. Even with Rend. I would suggest doing a Charge Barb. Second highest damage in the game next to Hammerdin. Charge is very survivable. Not saying that you need to do a charge build, but there are other builds for Barbarian that are more applicable and easier to build to do GRs than the WW build.
Ive been stuck at 62 gr for a week or two now, with little to no time to play.
Aside from needing more ancients and better rolls, do you guys have any advice?
I was thinking about switching to Earthquake but I really feel like Zodiac WR is the best.
like another has said. you waste some rerolls. I am not against the APDs + secondary freeze combo. I say end game. Nemi bracers will become APDs when people push high enough. You only need those secondary roll if you have the CHC, CHD, and AD already. Basically the belt is the only piece you didn't mess up.
You need CHC, CHD, and AD
CDR will be on your weapons and helm
You also get CDR from Zodiac + Pain Enhancer. More IAS > you spend more fury > you proc zodiac.
%skill dmg and %elemental dmg falls in the same pool. those are additive stats. If you have the bold Stats, then make sure you have these.
Ammy should be HF or Eye of Etlich. Ideal rolls physical%, CHC, CHD.
High CHC heals you with blood funnel. and you wont benefit from the high CHC unless you have high CHD. Its a 1:10 ratio. So 50% CHC would best perform with 500% CHD. Area damage (AD) helps you clear the rift faster. You need 100%+. by default AD will always have a 20% chance to proc. But the damage out put depends on you.

So, drop the APD for Nemesis? Also I have to look for new weapons and armor that I wasted rolls on huh?
I was thinking about dropping Rend for warcry for a while now but I wasn't sure how valuable it was.
Youfcked your gear up big time. ou only need stun/immobilize/freeze on hit for the bracer. Im pretty sure fear doesnt work, and its counterproductive anyway.
You only want these rolls on gloves/belt and if possible on weapons.
What you wanna focuws on is crit chance crit damage cooldown. You got way over your head rolling secondaries. You wanna focus on primary rolls.
Once again. Majke sure you have cooldown on shoulder area damage too if u can
gloves critchance crit damage (cooldown, area damage, attackspeed, vitality all wrks as a third stat)
rings: socket, critchance,+ critdamage/area damage/attack speed/cooldown reduction / average damage if ancient
amulet crit, crit, socket, physical damage if possible, if not doesnt matter. As of now any amuletz with critchance +critdamage and a socket is 10x better than your hellfire. Ancients are only good if they have the same stats as good normal legs + the extra passive is worthlewss if you lose 35% damage, which you do with that amulet. Use a yellow if you have to and use boon as a normal apssive instead of nerves of steel. If you are dieing you can just use diamonds. But first makle sure to hit 50% critchance overall, then try farming higher content.
helm: critchance!! always. whirlwind damage if possible.
Weapons should be ramaladis and roll high damage /attack speed/cooldown/area damage
You should be able to go higher, but at this point honestly any sh*tty item you get on the fcked up item places are gonna be upgrades. IF not for ruining your gear you could havwe gone 80+ with this gear.
for future reference, if you dunno hwo to build, and have noone to ask, either ask here first or just open the leaderboards go to the top10-top20 and check out the ww builds there. look at their items.
Yeah, I fixed a lot of this last night, Farmed new gear. Pushed a 70 out. Progressing now, All of yalls tips helped out. Thanks
man just go EQ, it destroys everything up to 70 with no effort. WW barb is probably the most gear dependant barb build out there to perform good. raekor is also good but i think that nothing beats EQ for anything up to gr70. of course a good geared raekor is better than EQ but low level gear/augments/gems nothing beats EQ.
+1, been playing LeapQuake Barb since S5 or something, and I still love it.
Even though I'm not the "pushing greater rifts to the limit"-guy I can still clear up to mid-high 70's with ease and if I would play a bit more up to 80+.
It's just a very simple and damn solid build.

Shadow Angelsthen you are doing something wrong because people are pushing GR90+ with WW. and they have lower augs.

I appreciate you, will be looking into this

When you reroll your weapons and armor try rerolling primary stats not secondary. That could help a bit.
