The BBFC has rated the Cutscenes of Diablo 3 with a rating of 15(Appropriate for ages 15 and over\Contains moderate bloody violence.) Another thing to note is the fact that 32 minutes of cutscenes were submitted. That a pretty significant chunk of time, and I'm excited to see what will be covered in these.
Any speculation on what the cutscenes will include?
Speculation: Other games receiving BBFC ratings have released 3-4 months out. We also know that Blizz prior till now was shooting for an pre 2012 release date, so this may not come as a surprise. Hopefully though this means that Early 2012, will truly mean EARLY 2012.

Well a cutscene isn't a cinematic. The cinematics will be the long fancy impressive CGI stuff. Cutscenes are made with the ingame engine. 30 minutes is pretty impressive.

I'm wondering if the "Gameplay Footage" is the "in game-cutscenes" and the "cutscenes" are the CGI Cinematics.
If it's anything like the previous games and combined with what we know, we can guess what comprises those 32 minutes of cinematic and/or 22 minutes of machinima:
-End of Act 1 cinematic
-End of Act 2 cinematic
-End of Act 3 cinematic
-End of Act 4 cinematic
-Final cinematic
Roughly something like that. Some of the above could fall under the 22 minutes of "gameplay footage" in-game machinima video content. There could also be 5 or 6 more than this, we just don't know.

The final test of the Serpent's Form takes place in "The Pit of 12 Vipers." The initiates are not told about the 13th.

I think you might be right. But just 22 minutes of ingame footage? Just Leoric's small in-game cinematic segments add up to about a minute. Kinda sad. I REQUIRE 70+ HOURS OF FOOTAGE!
I remember back in the day cursing was strictly forbidden on TV, and now its common place in cartoons during the day. I also remember the day I tried to buy D2. The cashier at wal-mart would not allow me to purchase the game, as it was rated mature. Luckily my older sister was standing there with me at the time. So, I just looked at the old woman behind the register and said, "well ok, then she is buying it".
Just goes to show how much times have changed.

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
We should of expected animated cutscenes anyway, since well you know,it's a Blizzard title and their cinematics are one of the best I've seen in video games.
Have you seen the Monk trailer? I found it awfully embarrassing at how terrible it was. Just watch the fight in the second half of the trailer.
A. It takes less space on the dvd / files to use this type of cutscenes.
B. Is this the final version or have they polished it up until release?
C. You dont have to watch it, cool huh?

What do you mean by these types of cutscenes? I'm not talking about the quality in the sense that it is HD or not, I was referring to the terrible fight at the end. It felt more like a Street fighter crossed with DragonBall Z type thing, rather than Diablo.
Of course I had to watch it at least once. I wouldn't watch it multiple times like I have some other Diablo videos though.
And what kind of rebuttal is that? I'm unhappy with some aspect of my favourite game, so rather than scrutinizing it, I should just keep my mouth shut, close my eyes, and pretend it isn't there?

Anyways, looking forward to 32 minutes of pure win.
